I was really surprised because I really liked those samples. :) All of the shorter tool-like bits are really nice, and both full mixes are great. 'scuse the shameless plug, but the Bugz have done a special radio mix for the show this Friday + I'll have a few copies of their fabric mix to give away free to any takers on the night it's going out this Friday night from 1-4am UK time (Saturday morning literally speaking) and can be heard live on the web at http://www.passion1079.com or on 107.9FM if you're in the Oxford area. If any 313 peeps tune in, give us a shout! I do requests as long as they're among the 30 or so reasonably obscure records in my bag...(weddings and barmitzvahs also considered) Best Dan. speaking of fabric mixes the bugz in the attic fabriclive 12 cd is also excellent! matt :) . and this is the likely result: http://www.bprince.com/BrianPrince-BrideOfStride(BassMix).mp3 (3.8 mb, 4min:40sec) An unapologetic party track. I can't be a mopey arteest all the time. If you heard it on the g-tech boards a while back, this version's got more b-b-B-BASS. Oh, thanks to the heads who replied to my query about the ATL a while back. I turned down the job offer I had out there and then promptly got laid off. I haven't bought records in months. Somebody hold me. -- Brian "balistic" Prince http://www.bprince.com - art and techno

Don't forget the Duane Bradley mix of Big Fun on the original KMS 12" - that mix was heavy. I'm not sure if he's into the idea of live performance but things change. There's a chance that Inner City could do live gigs in future but he says he imagines himself playing only key gigs. I think maybe the DJing is enough. He says he wants to further pursue production work. Maybe film work. The new track is totally amazing, I can't wait 'til it comes out either! > some good news indeed. :) I want to hear that new Inner City stuff .. > 2003 has been the return year for so many techno artists. What's the point of staying here, especially Boston? Being based in Europe means you can do the same lucractive European gigs without jetlag. And you can get more gigs, because the promoters don't have to spend more than $500 on a plane ticket for you. I think the real impetus is that his wife has a work/study opportunity there, so he can live in Berlin without being away from her. Maybe it's time for me to hook up a trip to Berlin *checking orbitz* On Mon, 6 Oct 2003, doris wrote: > yeesh... are there any techno artists left that AREN'T moving to berlin??? >
