That one's (Angel) from Chicago, this is Al's first released production. He also does a bit of drum and bass. Re: (313) Future Jazz going on?
It seems like L.A. actually has some pretty heavy jazz shxt going on right now. From the whole Build An Ark thing, to the jazz side of Stones Throw (DJ Rels, Malik Flavors, YNQ), to Ammon Contact and Daedalus. I think Steve Spacek lives there now, and Ubiquity is partially based out of there and seems to run some cool-sounding events... --- Carlos de Brito <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > that spacek "let the dollar circulate" 12" is the > bomb! > dope, dope j dilla production and in imo steve > spacek has alongside joe > dukie the most incredible voice inourdays. the album > seems to be very, > very good too, have to give it a few more listens > tho. > > speaking of future jazz, this belgian website seems > to be a good point > to start: www.beyondjazz.net > lots of people from around the world there, good > playlist section, nice > reviews, nice people in the forum. > > if u use slsk, say hello to the room GPWorldWide, > some future jazz > lovers there as well. > > c* > > [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: > > > > > > > > Outside of Plastic People/Co-Op and the Jazz Cafe > in London what is going > > on around the world as far as Future Jazz/broken > beats? > > > > any good "scenes" in your neck of the woods? > > > > any US DJs working it stateside like the way they > are @ Co-Op? > > > > btw - just heard a sample of Steve Spacek's new > 12" that's about to drop - > > channeling the spirit of Marvin Gaye for sure > > > > MEK > > > > >

Rude movements keeps it tight here in NYC. http://www.rudemovements.net/ this month is Osunlade and frequently features guests like Carl Craig, Waajeed, etc. as does Freeskool / Federation. hosts of Moonstarr, etc. in the past. not broken beat, but Negroclash has hosted the likes of Pepe Braddock.. and Theo Parrish. also at APT like RUDE. http://www.aptwebsite.com/ Spinna + Joe Clausell also play regularly at clearly the best engineered club in NYC [and I'll wager, North America], Love. www.musicislove.net SICK SICK SICK sound system. 7 ISOLATORS! 3 decks, 3 Technics CDJs, Teac Reel to reel.. Lexicon PCM-90, PCM-42, x-zone analogue filter.. a DJ / producers wet dream. Giant Step usually co-promotes Bugz / Dego / Seiji / Mark De Clive Lowe.. although when Mark played they barely had more than 100 people there. course, it was filled with people like Chuckie from Amalgama, Dego, and Waajeed! +odd -- On Oct 3, 2005, at 12:25 PM, [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: Outside of Plastic People/Co-Op and the Jazz Cafe in London what is going on around the world as far as Future Jazz/broken beats? any good "scenes" in your neck of the woods? any US DJs working it stateside like the way they are @ Co-Op? btw - just heard a sample of Steve Spacek's new 12" that's about to drop - channeling the spirit of Marvin Gaye for sure MEK -- Todd Sines, director + SCALE: http://www.scale.gs/ +1.646.330.4873 studio +1.646.258.5214 mobile 437 Washington Street, NY, NY 10013 // connecting the space between + within.

Hey no offence, why not just check the tracklist for the R&S/Transmat edition? It is correct. http://www.discogs.com/release/17549 I believe the track order for the 2 editions are identical.
