(313) music genealogy site... help needed
Hey everyone, I need a little help. I came across a website a few years ago that listed the genealogy and some information about various forms of electronic music. This site also featured brief audio samples in each page so that one could hear an example of the type of music being discussed. It was a great resource for anyone new to electronic music. Would anyone happen to have the address of this site if it still exists? I've meant to set up a link to it on my site for a while now. Thanks in advance. -ant-
Re: (313) subject detroit vol. 2 CDR?
Hmmm. This one has a green paper label on the disc, the kind CD-ROM drives hate. I purchased a replacement copy at Record Time Ferndale a few years ago. It came in the original case. But the CD was a CDR. Didn't have the green screen on the actual CD. Re: (313) subject detroit vol. 2 CDR?
I actually bought off discogs.com, from a record store that sells on there. It's very annoying, plus I have no idea if it is legit or not. That's why I asked if the ones DJ Bone sells through the Subject Detroit online store are CDRs like this. I did send Subject Detroit an email about it also. (313) subject detroit vol. 2 CDR?
Recently I purchased a copy this disc from an online webstore, not direct from Subject Detroit. When it came it was a CDR with a slim case and no artwork. The seller said nothing about it being a CDR and I thought would be getting a real CD. Does anyone know if the ones Subject Detroit stocks are CDRs as well? Or are those real CDs with artwork? Thanks.
