(313) Skudge "Phantom"
I've really been enjoying this album a lot. The style is very Detroit to my ears (Robert Hood comes to mind), so I was surprised to learn that they're from Sweden. Very good midtempo technohouse to wiggle to, though the nuances can get lost easily if the volume isn't reasonably high. -- {}0+>|

Apparently there's been a more-or-less silent change in the UK with respect to GMail. It used to be that all UK GMail users had e-mail addresses in the googlemail.com domain. Apparently Google settled with whomever was keeping them from using the name 'GMail' in the UK, and now you're like the rest of the world, and have an e-mail address of the form yourn...@gmail.com The yourn...@googlemail.com address still works for the world at large, but if you send an e-mail from gmail to that address, the FROM address is now yourn...@gmail.com, and your e-mail would be bounced. I've unsubbed all of your yourn...@googlemail.com addresses and subscribed you as yourn...@gmail.com, Anyone who runs into problems with this drop me a line and I'll try to sort you out.

someone asked about Aaron Bennett... Aaron is living in Austin, TX and is doing events under the moniker of Reverse Edit: http://www.reverse-edit.com/ Chance McDermott is still releasing music, he's done an album for panel trax and a few other digital labels as well...I talk to both of them quite frequently and count them as some of my best friends. I always liked "ice cream man from techno land" myself... I am a huge Black Nation fan...still play early stuff all the time. (313) Mystery Wild Kingdom
Oh me, oh my, what shall I do - it's midnight on a Thursday and I still haven't planned out tonight's show. Never fear - tonight's 4 hours will be filled with quality techno of some kind.. A hint - I will start with a track for the Delsin II compilation - it always helps to start with quality.. Last week's Wild Kingdom is here: http://www.kfjc.org/music/playlist.php?i=38919. "The Wild Kingdom" airs on KFJC-FM 89.7, Friday Night/Saturday Morning, 10P-2A (6A-10A GMT). Potential listeners outside the San Francisco Bay area can find a webcast at http://www.kfjc.org/netcast/index.php . Present and past Wild Kingdom playlists are also archived at kfjc.org. You can also check out archived playlists from my first KFJC show "Just Desserts" that was on Fridays 10P-2A from 1992 through 1999 (Deja Vu, huh?). Archived playlists exist for that show starting from Fall 1995 to New Year's Eve 1999/2000, so you can see what what I'm up to these days is pretty much consistent with what I was up to all along. If you do tune in (especially via the web), please take a little time to let me know your locale. I'm also interested in promo music from all over and in promoting local (San Francisco Bay area) techno-type events. If you want to do some promotion for an event, contact the KFJC promotions department at pr...@kfjc.org to arrange ticket giveaways and/or to send information for inclusion in our concert outlook. Thanks to those who have sent promo music so far. Regards, Richard Hester "Mr. Goodwrench" "The Wild Kingdom" FR 10P-2A KFJC-FM 89.7 Los Altos Hills, California, USA

Thanks for bringing up his name - a real nice guy who did some kick-a** tracks for BN (and maybe Sonic Mind, too - I'd have to look).
