I want the original pressing if it has a different tracklist cos i'm odd like that. but if they have the same tracklisting im not fussed. every single seller ive asked over the past year has had the bonus track. is that because very few 1995 copies were made or because every copy has the bonus track? all help gratefully recieved :D I was lucky enough to get sent a white label from Warp when it was promoed. Are you talking about discrepancies on the CD or vinyl or both? Lemme know if you want me to dig out my vinyl and I can see what the tracks are. Andrew
Re: (313) new Omar-S
Yeah its strange, its not like i go out as much as a few years ago, but ive never heard anyone drop a FXHE track live. There seems to be lots of people like you and me though who are collecting them all for home listening. strange...as you say they are quite clubby in the main. I played a couple yesterday. still sound great tbh. Didn't I read on his myspace page that he was doing hiphop from now on (probs meaning the 110 ep)? This (111) sounds like house to me :) An observation not a complaint, mind :) Funnily enough I was going to post this morning how I'd got bored of the whole Omar S sound and his over use of loops (I've got pretty much everything he's done though so I do like something about it). I guess I need to hear this stuff on a PA though. No-one I know of plays it though robin...

Also wish they would release the soundtrack to Picnic At Hanging Rock on CD. It's ridiculous that's unavailable. It's the defining Australian film of the '70s. On 25/08/2006, at 7:14 PM, Simon Hindle wrote: http://www.discogs.com/release/488248 So when blade runner came out (so the story goes), Vangelis was as disappointed with the edit as Ridley Scott was, and refused to release his soundtrack. So they got the New American Orchestra (whoever they might be) to do their own interpretation of the soundtrack and released that, and it was the only legit version of the soundtrack you could get for years. When the director's cut of Blade Runner came out, Vangelis finally allowed his original version of the soundtrack to be released. That's the story I heard anyway, the truth probably involves a little less artistic integrity ;-) Both are great releases in their own rights though.
