I think some may have missed the posts, but bone expressly asked to not
have the sets dl'ed as he plans to make them all available at once at a
later date. Stuff about the moment in time and other things. Very
respectable thoughts from the gentleman if I do say. So if the links die
it's probably because someone who didn't read/care about that post
ripping the address and the backend crew moving the file for the
aforementioned resons. He did say they'd be available to dl soon though.
I'd rather wait honestly. I kinda got into the spirit of "gotta catch it
this week or it's gone". In this tivo generation, maybe that's what
techno needs to give it excitement, motivation to crave the beat. Tough
to crave what's readily available (unless you're a glutton).
On a more directly musical note...anyone else feeling that voltaic joint
out on point.one? on the a side we get behavior modification. A real
squelchy poundy type 4x4 electro track. Pretty nice. Then there's a
dynarec remix that tracks the original out by looping a couple of the
squelchyest bars to great effect. Then dyna brings the pads in at the
forefront and smooths the whole affair out nicely. The b-side brings us
mimetic poly-alloy. Another squelch fest and it is a doozy! Nice tempo,
good breaks and dopeness all around. Last is my personal favorite right
now. Numbering is the title and it's so deep. Sounds like larry
heard could easily have done this track. It's so full of emotion and
space. All the melodies are directly complimental and the bass is sick.
Chikka boom.
