Re: (313) OT'ish: MTV AMP
I first heard two mixes of House of God from a Jack Dangers CD "Hello Friends", including the Bill Clinton mix. Still got it around here somewhere... -b - Original Message From: Arturo Lopez <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: list 313 <313@hyperreal.org> Sent: Tuesday, October 7, 2008 5:29:16 PM Subject: Re: (313) OT'ish: MTV AMP "Yep, it had some good UK stuff on there. My child, my wife, and our God. god god god" that I always enjoyed. I heard it on an Adam X mix I really liked "On the One and Two" that had a lot of fun tracks. -Arturo -- http://www.mummey.net

That dancing house is mesmerizing. Sadly, there was a slew of really craptastic remixes flooding the records shops for a while there. I think I remember that Bill Clinton DHS edit. Maybe when I saw Frankies Bones at some point. - Original Message From: Arturo Lopez <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: list 313 <313@hyperreal.org> Sent: Tuesday, October 7, 2008 5:29:16 PM Subject: Re: (313) OT'ish: MTV AMP "Yep, it had some good UK stuff on there. Yea - I'm looking for a massive, neurotic, fully archived history of every single episode sorted historically. Not just a selection of 12 videos. Aeon Flux, Liquid Television, Amp, etc. If I remember right, the show focused primarily on UK acts though, as this was part of the "electronica" british invasion in the late 90's. They released two cd's I think, a compilation of more of the popular tracks from the show. Goldie, Photek, Chemical Brothers, that kinda thing. -Arturo

Re: (313) OT'ish: MTV AMP
A friend of mine has all of them on VHS. She put one episode online. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=8769457740285482862&hl=en Quoting Michael Kuszynski <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: Anyone remember this show? I personally loved it, and before computers were fast enough to watch online videos or download mixes, and before I was old enough (yea, 1997 I couldn't drive), I got a whole lot out of these. Me and a friend back then would videotape as many of the shows as possible, and ended up with a 4 hour archive of the whole thing, and I can only find about 2 hours now. Does anyone remember? Does anyone obsessive have every single one recorded? Thanks! -- --- Michael Kuszynski [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.planerecordings.com New York, NY
