My fave mix of that lonnie gordon track; came out on white label around 93. killer drums, bassline.. everything top notch. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ser40d5Ncfc -s -- - http://sakarik.deviantart.com - - http://www.arabuusimiehet.com/sakke/ -

That's a good one -- don't know anything about Elis Pacheco, but DJ Camacho and DJ Disciple did additional work on this remix, two of the best exponents of mid-90s NY house before it got completely formulaic. Disciple in particular put out a lot of really top-level tracks I think he was involved with Eightball Records when I visited there in 1995 with label boss Ramon Wells (who used to live here in Portland, and has been running his own dot dot dot records since 1999). fh - >Alex always schools me on bomb vocal house cuts that I don't know. no, it's a completely different track, the main lyric is similar but completely different phrasing and melody. the accent on davina's lyric is on the "don't", whereas the accent on the track that omar played is on the "want". also davina never says need or feel, just want. I think Ken is right. Based on youtube clips of the (also totally awesome) Davina track, the cut that Omar S played is a completely different horse, though with some similarities. I'd say it's not the great track 'Don't You Want It' by UR (yes!) feat. Davina. The other lyrics don't seem to fit how I remember it. But maybe I better dig out my copy before I say for sure.
