I have seen Harvey Lane on a number of occasions, he's a resident at House of God in Birmingham, and I've heard him play at a few party's as well. Definately not Hawtin or Mills at any rate, whoever these people are, they come from Birmingham. Didn't we go through this in a major way just a couple of weeks ago? Aaron
Re: [313] User/00A... Eh?
I'm surprised at this post considering we just went through all this stuff, but I guess like me, everyone gets so much mail they end up deleting it. For the record: Harvey Lane is a resident DJ at a club, I believe in Birmingham. Dean Cole is User, and works at a record shop in again I believe Birmingham. 00A is a subsidiary of User records (thus the similar likeness). I personally haven't heard a single User or 00A record that I would play, but to each his own right? Re: [313] User/00A... Eh?
Speaking of booking info on this guy (or these guys ) does anyone have Richard Harvey/Dean Cole/User or whoever he likes to be on any given occasion's booking contact info along with Richard Turner (Utility Plastics)? I thought I had it last night but it is not going thru. Any help with this ASAP will be greatly appreciated! I doubt it. Probably just someone biting Jeff again. >I am utterly convinced that Richard Harvey, Harvey lane, and Richie Hawtin >are the same people, and Jeff Mills is I n the mix somewhere, all this mixed >up info, no one has ever seen him, who on earth is harvey lane? I am utterly convinced that Richard Harvey, Harvey lane, and Richie Hawtin are the same people, and Jeff Mills is I n the mix somewhere, all this mixed up info, no one has ever seen him, who on earth is harvey lane? Eh? Hullo All, I got the ``Serial Scratch User/00A'' (mixed by Harvey Lane) CD today, and from the inlay I read ``Mixed by Harvey Lane of 00A Records'' and ``Dean Cole of USER Records'' and a booking information number for both of them. To paraphrase Mrs. Broflovsky of ``South Park'' - ``whatWhatWHAAAT!?!?'' Who has released what on whose label and who is who anyway? I'm really looking forward to the Overload Media article on User - they have probably done some proper research. I'm quite mixed up as it is. Sounds like a one-take or a live mix - not too great, but it's nice to listen to these tracks without having to flip sides all the time. But, a collector is a trainspotter is a DJ (and vice versa).
