Re: (313) New Mix Online
Great mix, quite a delicate selection of tracks. Minimalistic, fresh and catchy. The fact that music is only from one label made this quite tight as what comes to the style. I liked the way you put some 4/4 housey towards the end. I really didn't find anything bugging about ThinnerMix and kept listening in a repeat several times. This is a definite keeper. Heard some Thinner joints one night up at the radio station and have wondered about it ever since.. thanks for putting this up at the nice bit rate too, suitable for CD burn & nite drives thru babylon. Agreed. I've auditioned quite a few of these netlabels, and aside from an occasional quirky ambient track, they're pretty much hit or miss. Thinner is an exception. I'm partial to Paul Keeley, Benfay, and Dennis' "kicked up" remix work. -- Ian

RE: (313) new mix online
Those samples have been buggin me for quite some time since i couldn't remember the other record I owned with the same sample. So while listening to Howard Stern this morning the answer popped in my head, Nick holder used the same sample for "Carnival" on DNH or NRK If you purchaed the 'From within Album." I'll double check that tonight, but i'm 99% sure that's the other track. jwan - Original Message - From: Michael Long <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Date: Thu, 23 Oct 2003 17:03:14 -0500 To: [EMAIL PROTECTED], 313@hyperreal.org Subject: RE: (313) new mix online > Good stuff.
