Re: (313) OT: Stanton SMX-301 DJ mixer zapped?! Final verdict

2009-03-16 Thread Thor Teague
Not sure a new PSU's gonna do me any good, but maybe it wouldn't hurt
to give it a whirl:

Thor,
You must some serious carpet in your place! I would start off by
checking the power supply of the unit I believe that the problem could
be coming from there. I would suggest buying a new one to see if it
works otherwise the cost of repair will exceed the cost of the mixer.

Verdict (was Sutekh vs Sims)

2000-09-12 Thread Nik Stoltzman
Thanks to all who had an opinion to offer me. The evidence seems stacked in
Sutekh's favour so it looks like a trip to London is in order...

...by the way, have any UK based people managed to get their hands on
Nighttime World Vol. 2 (vinyl or CD)? I keep speaking to people who either
know nothing about it (!) or keep muttering darkly about 'distribution
problems' and then failing to produce the goods. I am going crazy. Like, I
read about it on this list months ago now.

My time will come...
