it depends what you want to do. but if you stay on high floors and
all, paying an extra 5 to 10 rs will not hurt anything.

Extending on what has already been stated in the earlier messages. The oil
and gas companies are committed to deliver the cylinders at the residence
and at the doorstep and not outside the building. There is no extra cost
for home delivery of refill within the trading area of the agency. Purchase
price is inclusive of Home delivery charges. This is usually within 15 km.
The best part is that if there are any service issues like leakage or an
issue with the washer or connection then you can call up the office and
have them look it up without additional cost.  Replacement is also done at
no additional cost. They even send people on request to check the
maintenance of the stove at nominal cost.

I agree with Srinivasu.
dont no about other states, but in bangalore if the person is payed
with extra, the silinder will be at your home, if not it will be at
the gate.
if you are enough capable to carry them, then you need not required to pay.

Hi,

Book gas cylinder online. You can do it  with ease using Amazon Pay.
Giving tips to delivery person occasionally, say on Diwali, is ok but no 
need to pay them everytime they deliver the cylinder.

No, no, never. Whenever you book a gas, you are informed about the exact
amount to be payed. It is their usual habit to ask for extra money and
bonus for various festivals. You must never pay any such extra money. In a
way you are encouraging corruption. The delivery boys are not doing you any
favour. They are paid for their job. It is as simple as this.
