In TCM-test Writer 4 two dissimilar documents must be compared. The
Accept/Reject dialog is not full in Dutch.
The column "Auteur" gives the text "Unknown User" if the user is not known.
"Unknown User" had to be changed in "Onbekende gebruiker".

Hi Petr,

I made my reaction at your first message. After that I had written my comment,
I saw the other 2 messages. In the second message was mentioned that the empty
rule was transform to issue 74811.
My reaction was too quick. It seems good to me that the empty rule in the
helpfile is transformed to issue 74811 and the other 2 problems with the spaces
before the Dutch text are solved.

So this issue can be closed and 74811 stays open.

Sorry for the (too) quick reaction,

With regards,
Marric

Hello Petr
I just downloaded the new version (2.2.0 build 9119) from the site of Pavlek to
control if the rule isn't empty anymore.
But in this version of Pavlek the first rule is still empty and the second rule
start with "2D-diagrammen selecteren".

So this issue is not fixed. Please will you reopen it and solve this problem.

Thanks,
Marric

The first rule of the tab 'Index' in the Help of Impress and Draw is in the
English version '1/2 replacement' (versie 2.1 build 680m6 9095).
In the (same) Dutch version this item (translated as '1/2 vervanging') stands
on the fourth rule.
In the Dutch version the first rule seems to be empty, but when you double-
click on this rule the helppage 'Dia's uit een andere presentatie kopiëren'.
(This page is in English called 'Copying Slides From Other Presentations). The
Dutch version 'Dia's uit een andere presentatie kopiëren' can also be opened by
double-clicking on 'dia's > kopi??ren tussen documenten' (This page is in
English 'slides > copying between documents').
Because the Dutch helppage can be reached on the same way as in the English
version (in which is no blanc rule that opens this page), I propose to delete
this blanco rule and his URL.

The following two lines starts with a space and in that way the are at the top
of the Index-list. I propose to delete this first space before the text '3D-
tekst maken' (In English: 3D text creation) and before the
text 'dieptespreiding' (In English: depth stagger).

I hope that you can fix this 3 rules/lines in the help of Impress/Draw.

With regards,

Recently I had done the Dutch TCM-test of version 2.1. In this testsession one
of the cases (Writer-2) I had to test the following:
1. Open a Writer file for your language (fr, de, it, es, sv, pt_BR, ja, zh,
zh_TW, ko)
2. Save it as MS Word doc file
3. Reopen the file in MS Word

For this test I used the file 0211 WG Using Mailmerge.odt. This file can be
found on
http://oooauthors.org/en/authors/userguide2/writer/published_final/0211WG-
UsingMailMerge.odt
This file was saved in MS Word 2003 as a doc-file [Microsoft 97/2000/XP (.doc)]
There was no other option to save as a doc-file.
After that I opened the saved file in MS Word 2003. This results in a file that
nearly cannot be read because the pictures were place wrong and over text. In
the second part of the document the numbering of the lists went wrong.
The MS Word-document will be attached with this issue and I hope that this can
be solved soon because we cannot say anymore that OOo can read and convert Word-
documents.

Hi Petr,
I saw the translation and I think the translation will be allright if this
menuoption become once active.
I modified in several way a toolbar with extra buttons or buttons from another
toolbar, but this menuoption is always inactive (lightgray) and had in my
opinion no function in the Dutch version.
There is also no helptext who tells the user what this option for. There for I
said that this option can be deleted.
A menuoption without any function (and always lightgrey) belongs not in any
menulist.

But that is my opinion. Perhaps that this function in the Dutch version had to
be activated first.
If that happens then there must written or translate a helptext.

I hope that I made myself clear.
Marric

Hi coni,

I installed the build you named, but there is no difference. So the text I
wrote on Nov 14 is still correct.
In this build is the text "Complexe Scripts" written with capitals at the begin
of both words. In Dutch only the first word start with a capital. So this had
to be changed in "Complexe scripts". This correct text is in the same windows
correct writen a few rules above this wrong text.

I hope that you can and will fix this little error.

In installed the build named below and I don't found the wrong written words
anymore.
This version was either the FULLPACK NL edition and the issue goes about the
installation of the Dutch LANGPACK.

I don't know if there is a difference between the screens of the fullpack en
the langpack. If there are no differences then this issue is solved. Otherwise
I think that there must be looked to the installation of the langpack.

My reaction for this is incorrect. Also the screenshots is incorrect. I was

There for the helptext of the wrong build was showed. The text of ARTIETEE is
correct.
There are more words that are not well written as he named it.

Coni asked me to controle some things in other issues and install build m193.
In that build is the word you show written in the right way.
More confusing is the fact that the tabs of the helpscreen are not translated.
In earlier version they were translated in the right way.
But in build m193 the tabs are called: Contents; Index; Find; Bookmarks in
stead of Inhoud; Index (the same as English); Zoeken; Bladwijzers.

I don't understand how this things can happen. In one build you repair a
mistake and in a later build the same mistake is there again.

Hi Petr,

I don't know what is happening with OOo or in OOo. You said that in m189 is
no "SHEETS-functie" and no "VALUE-functie".
I made an attachement with this issue (see above) in which are screenshots from
the helptext in build m193. That was a build I downloaded from the site of
Pavel Janik and I thought that was not a correct build.
"Coni" (I don't know his real name) gave me a link with the latest build in
which I had to look for some other things of issue 68753 and 68748. I installed
that build and after installation I saw that that was also build m193.
More amazing was either that in the helptext was a "SHEETS-functie" and
a "VALUE-functie" which so you said were not in build m189.
So someone or something changed it back in the wrong text.

I don't hope that I am seeing ghosts because I think it is reality.

Hi,
Possibly I have not be clear enough.
Because there is a helptext which can be found with a dutch description
otherwise then "Function-Assistent" en "Configuration Manager" I tried to say
that that 2 items can be deleted from the Index of the helpfile.
>From "SHEETS-functie" of which the first word is English there is no second
Dutch item which opens this helptext. So "SHEETS-functie" in the index of the
helpfile had to be translated to Dutch "BLADEN-functie".
Also for "VALUE-functie" (first word is English too) is no second Dutch item
that opens the same helptext. So also "VALUE-functie" in the index of the
helpfile had to be changed in Dutch "WAARDE-functie".

I hope this makes things clear, if that is not so, say it.

In the latest version 2.0.4.rc3 en the latest build on the site of Pavel Janik
(SRC 680_m193 build-1) I found the following:

>From the first two items, Configuration Manager and Function Assistent, is an
equal helpwindow with another (Dutch) name. So I think that it is no danger to
delete this two items.
I placed screenshots of the wrong, English, index-item and under it the other,
Dutch, index-item that calls the same helppage.

>From the SHEETS-functie that calls the Dutch helppage BLADEN, I cannot find
another page. So "SHEETS-functie" must be translate as "BLADEN-functie".

Also from the VALUE-functie that call the Dutch helppage WAARDE, I cannot find
another page. So this "VALUE-functie" had to be translate as "WAARDE-functie".

Hi,
All the wrong words in the helpfile still exist in the latest build of version
2.0.4.rc3 and the latest build on the site of Pavel Janik (SRC 680_m193 build-
1).
I have made screenshots of all the 5 named items and put them in an Writer-
document. This Writerdocument a placed as an attachment with this issue. The
wrong written words are highlighted in the examples.
I hope that you can clear this text now and not wait another 3 months to do
that.

Hi,
In the version 2.0.4 rc3 and the latest version version on the site of
PavelJanik (SRC 680_m193 build-1) both terms are translated. The first item
ment in this issue is now translated as "Aziatisch" and that text is possible.
It is a pitty that the second term is not well translated, this text is
translated as "Complexe Scripts" this had to be "Complexe scripts".
In Dutch mostly there are no 2 words with a capital. In the same window is
already another line with the same text "Complexe scripts" and it is not nice
to read the text "Complexe Scripts" two or three lines lower.
I will ask you to change this capital in a lowercase letter.

Hi,
If you give me a site where I can download the latest English version of OOo
and the proper languagepack for that build then I will install that version
and the languagepack to control if the problem still exist.
I cannot find it myself. I can only a complet Dutch OOo version 2.0.4. rc3,
but not an English version with a languagepck.
So if you will let me know where I can find it then I am going to work on it.

Hello coni,

The text in version 2.0.4. Dutch is still wrong. If you type as searchitem the
text "De Help Agent Aan en Uit Zetten" then there is only 1 hit and that is
the wrong page.
The good translated text in Dutch are already in this issue.

I hope that this simple issue now is clear en that you can solve it.

With regards,
Marric

If you select in the helptext 'OOo-dev Calc' (or Writer, Base, Math) and the
tab 'Index' then the first two items in the list begins with a space because
it are sub-items. The titles of the sub-items are: '3D-tekst maken'
and 'dieptespreiding'.
The place from this sub-items here is wrong. The first sub-item '3D-tekst
maken' can be placed under item 'grafische tekstvormen' (lower in the list).
The second wrong placed sub-item 'dieptespreiding' can be placed under
item 'schikken' lower in the list. But this sub-item is also named under
item 'niveau's' lower in the list. So if it had to be deleted then that is no
problem.

If you select 'OOo-dev Impress' or 'OOo-dev Draw' and the tab 'Index' then it
seems that the first rule is empty. But if you double-click on it then opens
the helptext 'Dia's uit andere presentaties kopiëren'.
This subject is already mentioned in the helptext as subtext 'kopiëren tussen
documenten' under the text 'dia's'.
So this blanco rule and his URL can be deleted from the helptext.

Select 'Extra - Opties... - Taalinstellingen - Talen'. In the

The first option had to be renamed to: 'Geactiveerd voor Aziatische talen'.

In the OOo dev m180 is the text of a warning screen wrong.
Click on the menu 'Bewerken - Wijzigen - Opnemen'. Now is this option
activated. Deactived this option now by clicking on the same menu-
option 'Bewerken - Wijzigen - Opnemen' and a warning screen appears with the
text: "Door deze handeling wordt het registreren van wijzigingen afgesloten.

In the Dutch Installation Wizard of the langpack
(OOo_2.0.4_060811_Win32Intel_langpack.exe) are two words in two screens
written wrong.
The first one is in the 4th screen of the Installation Wizard (that is the
screen that comes AFTER the screen in which you can control the target map).
The written text is now: "De geselecteerde programmaonderdelen worden ge??
nstalleerd". In this text is the last word written wrong (the question-marks
are wrong). The whole text must be: "De geselecteerde programmaonderdelen
worden geïnstalleerd".
In the following screen is the same word even written wrong. The written text
is: "De installatiewizard heeft OpenOffice.org 2.0 Language Pack (Nederlands)

be changed in:

Hello Coni,

Sorry for the late reaction on your message, but I was on a holiday. This
issue is not solved.
If you write the searchstring "uitgebreide help" in the "Help voor
OpenOffice.org F1" on the tab "Zoeken" and you click on the button "Zoeken"
then gives OOo a list (with Calc selected).
In milestone 180 the 6th option of this list is called "De Help Agent Aan en
Uit Zetten". If you doubleclick on this option a helptext will open with the
text "Uitgebreide Help in- en uitschakelen". The helptext on this pages are
incorrect.
The new (possible) helptext are in my attachment with this issue. See above.

I hope that it is clear now and that you can solve this item.

During the QA-test of the Dutch version 2.0.3. I noticed an not translated
menu-item in a contextmenu (?) in all application of this version.
Most of the toolbars in OpenOffice can be customized when the toolbar is
opened. If you will customize the toolbar, you had to click on the dropbutton
on the right site of the title-bar. A new menu (contextmenu) appears. In this
menu is a new option called "Close toolbar" and that is not translated. The
Dutch translation for this text is "Werkbalk sluiten".

After submitting this issue I will send an attachment with a picture of a
toolbar and his untranslated menu (with the Dutch translation in it).

In OpenOffice.org Draw 2.0 you can edit fields (see also issue 63341) in a
dialog. In Dutch this is 209438.Veldopdracht bewerken (In English Edit Fields).
In this dialog are two Option buttons named 'vast' and 'variabel'. This words
had to begin with an uppercase and had to be written as 'Vast' and 'Variabel'.
(In the English version the words are written with an uppercase).

Key-id 209436.vast had to be Vast

In OpenOffice.org 2.0 Writer you can insert fields in menu Insert - Fields. If
you insert an "Author" field and you will format of this fields by editting.
This happens in menu Edit - Fields in a dialog named Edit field. In Dutch
translated as Veldopdracht bewerken with key-id 217631.Veldopdracht bewerken:
216120.Documentinfo. In this dialog is the English word "Format" translated in
Dutch as "Formaat". This is incorrect and had to be "Notatie" and the
English "Additional formats" is translated as "Andere formaten". This is also
incorrect and had to be "Andere notaties".

Key-id: 216117.Formaat had to be Notatie
Key-id: 218761.Andere formaten had to be Andere notaties.

In an earlier issue the same problem is reported about Draw.

In Impress and Draw there is a toolbar Insert. The 2nd icon from this toolbar
is called "Spreadsheet". That is English. So it is not translated. The Dutch
translation had to be: "Werkblad".
In the helppages about this subject all is already named as "Werkblad".

The key-id number in Impress and Draw is:
241165.Spreadsheet had to be translated as Werkblad.

In the dialog window Tools-Option-General there is in OpenOffice.org Writer,
Calc, Draw and Impress a chapter "Metrics" in which is a measurement unit.
In this unit the English "inch" in translated in Dutch as "duim". This
translation is incorrect and has to be the English "inch" as described in the
CSS1.

Key-id's:
Writer: 214899.Duim had to change into Inch
Calc : 217586.Duim had to change into Inch

With the Dutch community we are reviewing the helppages of OpenOffice.org.
In version 2.0.1. is the way that the helppage text/shared/07/0900.xhp
with the title "OpenOffice.org HTML-sjablonen" (OpenOffice.org HTML Templates)
not right.
The HTML Paragraph Styles as mentioned on this page are not in version 2.0.1.
Also the character styles for HTML-pages mentioned here are not in 2.0.1.
Also the menu-item "View -> Online Layout" is not in version 2.0.1.
Searching for "HTML-sjablonen" gives in the Dutch version two results. The
first result goes to the right helppage. In the English version gives
searching for "OpenOffice.org HTML Templates" many more results, but the 4th
results goes to the right helppage.

text/shared/02/2010.xhp and text/shared/02/2011.xhp.
The first page describes in which way on the Status bar "date and time" is
placed (page 2008); the second page describes in which way the "time" is
placed on the Status bar (page 2009); the third page described in which
way on the Status bar the "date" is placed (page 2010) and the last page
describes again in which way the time is placed on the Status bar (page
2011). In the same order as described above the title of the pages
are: "Gecombineerde weergave (Combined display)"; "Tijd (Time)"; "Datum
(Date)" and "Tijd (Time)".
Searching on the text "Gecombineerde weergave" or "Combined display" gives not
the good result. One page in Writer can be found (text/swriter/02/0808)
with the same title, but that page is a good one.
The pages are only to be found by their numbers.
In the status bar there is no field with date and time or only date or time.

On the helppage /text/shared/guide/data_addressbook.xhp,with the
title "Registering an Address Book" is the text in point 3 of the
paragraph "Registering An Existing Address Book Manually" after "click the
Administrate button" incorrect.
The text said there is opening a dialog but that is not true in OpenOffice.org
2.0, there is a Wizard opening.
The text can be modified in:
"This takes you to the Data Source Wizard in which you can register your
address book as a new data source in OpenOffice.org. You can find more
information in the section Address Data Source in the OpenOffice.org Help."
The text "Address Data Source" above had to be a hyperlink.
The Dutch text can be modified in:
"Dit opent het eerste venster van de Assistent Gegevensbron voor adressen,
waarin u het adresboek als nieuwe gegevensbron in OpenOffice.org kunt
registreren. Raadpleeg voor meer informatie de sectie Gegevensbron voor
adressen in de Help van OpenOffice.org."
The text "Gegevensbron voor adressen" above had to be a hyperlink.
The point 4, 5 and 6 can be deleted.

With the review of the Dutch community of the helppages of OOo 2.0.x I noticed
that the page text/shared/guide/active_help_on_off.xhp, Turning Extend Tips On
and Off describes how this works in the version 1.1.4
In version 2.0. this option is under Tools-Option-OpenOffice.org-General and
not in the menu Help.

While reviewing the Dutch helppage I came to page
text/shared/optionen/01040900.xhp. This page gives a description of the
dialogscreen Options - OpenOffice.org Writer - Generaal. On this page are some
paragraphs that are outdated. That paragraphs are:
Caption with 1 text rule under it.
Automatic with 1 text rule under it.
Object selection with 0 text rule under it.
... with 1 text rule under it.
Perhaps that in earlier version the descriptions are good, but not in version
2.0. In OpenOffice.org 2.0 the option "Automatic Caption" have an own section
under OpenOffice.org Writer.

Again a message of the Dutch reviewcommunity.
Probably the same problem as issue 60876, External programs.
The helppage called text/shared/optionen/01020300.xhp. This page is not
mentioned in version 2.0. The problem with this page is that not is written
how this page can be reached.
But I am convinced that the way this page is written belongs to an earlier
version of OpenOffice.org.

With the Dutch community we are reviewing the helppages. In version 2.0.1.
there is a page called in Dutch "Externe programma's (in English External
Programs). The description on this page is not for the version 2.0.1.
The way is was described is the way is goes in OOo 1.1.4 with the exception
that "Externe programma's" was calles "Hulpprogramma's".
The way how to put in "External programs" is now under Tools-Options-
OpenOffice.org Writer-Standard email.
This page seems obsolete and looks like issue 59867.
The number of the helppage is text/shared/optionen/0101950.xhp . This page can
be found too by search under the text "Externe programma's". In the showed
list after that is it the last option.

I understand that you know by now that the Dutch community is reviewing the
Dutch helpfiles.
In this case I cannot give you more then the number of the helppages described
in the issue. I only can give you the Dutch text. Rule 17 in Dutch "Kies
Opmaak - Cellen samenvoegen - Definiëren" and rule 18 in Dutch "Kies Opmaak -
Cellen samenvoegen - Verwijderen".
If you have some knowledge about Calc then you know that with Merge Cells a
selection immediately is merged when clicked on the item in the menu Format
there is no submenu under it. The helptext in this file tells us that there is
a submenu (also in the English helpfiles).
If I search to the exact text then I cannot find this 2 rules.
When I search for "Cellen samenvoegen" (Merge cells) and you click on the
second result "Cellen samenvoegen" then I helppage is opened that starts with
the text "Hier u kunt een submenu zien voor het samenvoegen van cellen .".
So I said earlier in this mail there is no submenu.

I hope that I make myself clear

This applies to both English and Dutch help. It involves
page /text/scalc/00/0405.xhp. At rule 17 describes Choose Format - Merge
Cells - Define and rule 18 describes Choose Format - Merge Cells - Remove.
Both rules are incorrect for OOo 2.0.x. The written describtion belongs to an
older version 1.1.x.
I am afraid that the incorrect text rules are also used in other helppages of
OOo 2.0.x

I think that the problem is over.

Yes, I use the NL-build. But if in the English build there is no problem and
this issue is closed.
Then is the problem is the NL-build still there and in following builds too.
How is the problem repaired in the NL-build?

The option "Save as" is not working as expected. You cannot save an Excel-file
as a Calc-file. The same problem is in Writer. There it is not possible to
save a Word-file as a Writer-file.
