Is this an admission of incompentence? So, in 6 years, they turned a $5 
mm deficit into a $7.5 mm deficit by selling off hundreds of millions 
of dollars worth of property? 

Seems odd that they are so against state assistance into managing the 
books, yet are willing to take a bigger and bigger check each year. 
What is this council hiding?

Police investigate shooting in Asbury Park

ASBURY PARK — One person was shot in the leg at First Avenue and Comstock 
Street Friday night, Sgt. Jeff White said.

Detectives were at the intersection three hours after the 8 p.m. shooting, 
while the person who pulled the trigger remained at large, according to White.

No other information was available.
