I live in AP ( 505 7th Avenue), and unfortunately might be looking for an apartment nearby (my marriage might be going downhill, but I still would like to around AP). I was looking for a place around $1K a month, but I can also guarantee payment, etc.is this something we could work on? Up up and away. I still say the "AVG" they use isn't quite right. Looks like "only another $20 month..." - like having a cosmo on the boardwalk off happy hour. but for those "above average" it's a bigger hit. You need new construction that is taxable to help soften this what look like little hits each year. you also have to hope that the schools continue to get state aid and remain troubled - the more problems, the more money they get to fix it. Kind of like raising homes in flood prone areas. The next genius will say they have to build the roads higher as well. Yahoo!
