you.
Huh? Are you so self-centered that you don't bother to read
carefully what others write? Did you purposely not include my response to
you on the matter? I have pasted it below. I did not say that I am
"convinced he said that thing about AP." I said the issue is your
credibility and your use of quotes. If gloating is your thing,
cool I guess. But in my experience with your reporting, I never see
anything for you to gloat about. Rather for you to be ashamed
of.
I think it's a serious matter that I'd
rather have you help me solve.
Until you get serious in your reporting, I'm not interested in helping you
with anything.
I'm not even looking to embarass
Frank with it. If he shows a renewed committment to AP and starts coming here
and helping, that will be good enough for me.He is a Congressperson and AP
needs him. I'd like to see him here and helping outPoint is, I'd rather
Frank help us than have us put him on the
defensive.
Stop deflecting the issue to Pallone. AP needs a commitment to truth
from you. You're on the defensive, not him. He just won an
election.

The following is my post to Tommy which he

Keep in mind
1. that my fax to him was to bypass you in determining the truth behind the
alleged quote you attributed to him in your column. You still haven't named the
reporter or where the quote is recorded.

Yes. I stood with him

Both of the above are more of a reflection on your column and posts than on
Pallone: questionable quotes and cherry picking facts for your own
purposes.

The above is a litany of mere insinuations. In your last column you
had convulsions about misleading insinuations you claim the Asbury
Park Press made about Republicans. (Odd charge I thought since
the Press's election endorsements last Monday were primarily for Repuplican
candidates.)
I'll reserve judgment on Pallone's commitment to Asbury Park until I hear
from fairer and more authoritative sources.
I also reserve judgment on his staff's efficiency regarding my fax.
Anyone on your enemies' list would have to hire a whole squadron of staff just
to respond to all the off-the-wall insinuations you make in your columns.
That would be a waste of time, money, and energy. It's possible they
just don't think "Justified Right" is worth all
that.
