I met Glenn and D-for the duck at the Empress this weekend. I have to say Glenn is a better conversationalist :) Robb Perry --- In AsburyPark@yahoogroups.com, "Jack Pitzer" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > I'm sad that once again, I wasn't around to meet Glenn, and I would've loved to meet the > duck. > > --- In AsburyPark@yahoogroups.com, "radio881gal" wrote: > > > > Glenn - > > I too missed the duck again. > > How did this happen? > > I think I would really bond with the duck if I could just get to meet > > him - or her. Glenn - I too missed the duck again. How did this happen? I think I would really bond with the duck if I could just get to meet him - or her. Does he resemble Howard the Duck at all? Sorry we didn't hook up this time, Glenn. Maureen --- In AsburyPark@yahoogroups.com, "oakdorf" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > --- In AsburyPark@yahoogroups.com, "dapawprint" wrote: > > > > . I know that the City was not approached for approval to erect the blue screen (the promoter didn't know approval was required - that will change next time.) By mid-day, Convention Hall was opened so that people not participating in Sand Blast could use the restroom facilities in CH. The O. Ave sign lead to another sign on the boardwalk which directed people to Convention Hall. There was also a "Boardwalk Update" flyer available at those horrible white boxes with blue roofs (the info boxes) which detailed what was open on the boardwalk and in the CH arcade. The last lines of the flyer says "YOU DO NOT HAVE TO USE THE PORTA-POTTIES. THERE ARE LOTS OF CLEAN, GENUINE REST-ROOMS JUST INSIDE THE CONVENTION HALL DOORS!" (uppercase on the flyer, I am not trying to yell) > > Otherwise it was a busy weekend down in AP.
