I am glad you checked out the site and not many parents in Asbury Park paid attention to the school options they had. Most chose the charter school. Spots are open. I also had my kids at Care on the Square and Alphabets! ... Kindergarten was wonderful at Thurgood Marshall but that was 9 years ago. My 7 year old daughter is in Deal school going into 2nd grade Been there since K 11 kids in her class. Great school! And goes to grade 8. Check out Wesley for pre k on Monmouth Rd in oakhurst. I am going to check out the Neptune Montessori school in September to start her off a couple of days/week. I have a friend with 2 kids in Care on the Square and she has been happy. My neighbor sent her child to preschool and kindergarten here in Asbury and was happy.
