Re: [SlimDevices: Audiophiles] Firmware 83?
See this thread as well: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=76154 So there are some changes in the pipeline, but they are going through some QA tests first (at the very least some sanity checking to make sure upgrades and downgrades still work and it doesn't beak the player). I guess it will appear some point closer to the release of 7.5. -- funkstar '[project log] funkstars digital lifestyle' (http://forums.hexus.net/hexus-lifestyle/179882-project-log-funkstars-digital-lifestyle.html) - 'hexus.community' (http://forums.hexus.net/) *in use:* *1*x touch, *1*x boom, *2*x sb3, *1*x controller *in a box:* *1*x radio, *1*x (beta) controller, *1*x receiver, *1*x sb2 wired (silver), *1*x sb (black), *1*x slimp3 (with rear shield) if you have any others, let me know, i'm interested!! funkstar's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2335 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=76151 ___ audiophiles mailing list audiophiles@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/audiophiles
Re: [SlimDevices: Audiophiles] Battery powered Transporter
It would certainly be more work, but not impossible. The TP has at least three primary power supplies, the 5 volt switching supply for the front panel, and the two toroidal transformer driven supplies for the analog and DAC. It would be a lot more work because you would have to remove those, rather than simply plug in an external box like an SB3 change. -- DCtoDaylight Audiophile wish list: Zero Distortion, Infinite Signal to Noise Ratio, and a Bandwidth from DC to Daylight DCtoDaylight's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=7284 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=76126 ___ audiophiles mailing list audiophiles@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/audiophiles

I spoke with Vinnie at Red Wine and it doesn't look as feasible as I had hoped. If anyone else can chime in it'd be appreciated. You have to select which music source you want either mySB.com or Squeezebox Server If you connect to Squeezebox Server, you should get My Music Dave -- DaveWr DaveWr's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=9331 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=75935 ___ audiophiles mailing list audiophiles@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/audiophiles
Re: [SlimDevices: Audiophiles] listening to HD Audio (24/96)
I should be able to get to "My Music" on squeezeplay, correct? I can get to the radio stations but not my music. Is there an FAQ somewhere so I can try to diagnose this on my own? Re: [SlimDevices: Audiophiles] Nakamichi Amp 1 any good?
I am looking at integrated amps in the €300 - €400 class. Most of my rather ancient gear (with the exception of the Onkyo Receiver and the SB3) were in that price range. I am also in the process of building an IRBlaster so that I will be able to control my new amp's volume with the SB3's remote. :D -- copperstate copperstate's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=34756 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=76083 ___ audiophiles mailing list audiophiles@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/audiophiles
