The aim of science is to test and retest and then test again until there is only one conclusion that arises that will then turn it into a theory or in the case of physics, a law. In order to gain knowledge in the scientific field it is beneficial to be proved wrong if you are in fact wrong. A good scientist should always look for where they may have screwed up data or skipped over something. Even in themselves they should always look for conflicting data. Kepler proved Ptolomy wrong with his theory of elliptical orbits of planets. Before him it was believed that planets orbited in circular motions until he found a flaw in the research. So yeah, if you can prove science wrong again and again with the same result a new theory will arise. -- drewe181 Slim Devices Squeezebox 3 Modified Logitech Squeezebox Touch Logitech Squeezebox Radio iPhone with iPeng iPad with iPeng HD FLAC FLAC and more FLAC http://www.studionika.com.au ---- drewe181's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=8129 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=88345 ___ audiophiles mailing list audiophiles@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/audiophiles

At the moment i am running a squeezebox -> moodlab DAC -> burson buffer -> kingrex t20 + PSU (just upgraded from the Super T) and then out through some old speakers (pioneer woofers and new vifa tweeters) i found on the street which will be the next upgrade in about a year or so. my wife and i don't share all the same musical tastes so i tend to find myself listening to less and less punk and hardcore these days. either i'm growing up into a man or i'm not as angry anymore. -D -- drewe181 http://www.last.fm/user/drewe181/ ---- drewe181's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=8129 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=30141 ___ audiophiles mailing list audiophiles@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles

i can highly recommend the sonic impact super t-amp. i just purchased one of them and also a moodlab concept dac to use with my squeezebox. i'm surprised at the change they made to the sound of the squeezebox. unfortunately, now, some of my more poorly recorded cd's don't sound so good. both of these were bought for a little over $AU500 so for a budget system i find them pretty good value.
