I am not sure what a networking issue is. I uninstalled and I guess it is the same thing. I was pretty certain I had nothing at all with 2.0, so I had some hope of getting this resolved seeing as how I was getting bits and pieces. Thanks for your input. -- mjock3 -------- mjock3's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=49183 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=91322 ___ audiophiles mailing list audiophiles@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/audiophiles

Tried the buffer changes but did not help, even went to the max and the same thing. Re: [SlimDevices: Audiophiles] soundcheck's Touch Toolbox 3.0
I am enjoying the TT 3.0. It is very nice. Thanks Klaus!! I have a question, when running 2.0 I was not able to do 96/24 res files through my DAC (Bel Canto DAC 2.0) through coax. I just tried it again today and I am getting it intermittently. A second or 2 and then drop out and again, back and forth. I was told by Bel Canto that I should be able to play 96/24 pcm files. Can anyone offer some advice on what tweaks may make this work for me? Re: [SlimDevices: Audiophiles] New Squeezebox Touch Mod
A hard rest was recommended by Soundcheck before installing 3.0. Which should clear Dynobots mods. -- mjock3 mjock3's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=49183 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=89359 ___ audiophiles mailing list audiophiles@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/audiophiles

Re: [SlimDevices: Audiophiles] New Squeezebox Touch Mod
Yes, I understand. But here is my problem, after doing the rcS file change something went wrong and I had to do a factory reset. After doing the factory reset, I reinstalled TT 2.0, then went about plugging in the commands from Dynobot's mods. When doing this I could not hear the differences that were so obvious the first time I put them in line by line. I am not even trying the rcS file modification at this point as there is no reason to. Something changed in the reset that makes the settings inaudible. I did check to and verfiy the changes with the: ps -eLo pid, cls, rtprio, pri, nice, cmd | grep -i "irq" command. And according to it the changes have taken place. Have you heard the changes? What firmware version are you using? Re: [SlimDevices: Audiophiles] New Squeezebox Touch Mod
Is there no one willing to give me a hand on this? Could it be my firmware updated? Is anyone using 7.6.1 r9486 and hearing changes on the fly with the spdif settings? After making these changes are you still able to modify spdif on the fly as with Dynobot's mods? Yesterday before modding the rcS file I could hear changes on the fly, today after changing the rcS file and rebooting I can not hear the on the fly. Did I do something wrong maybe?
