So far, the only component of this "meme" that has been universal is "buy a Touch". Beyond that opinions vary considerably as to what additions are necessary before a person can truly enjoy their music. The guy who said buy a good DAC is right, that has to be #2, even before the PS or TT3.0 However, one very important point of TT3.0 is the ability to kill the display processes. Not the same as making the screen black. But probably not as good as disconnecting the whole LCD display as well as killing the processes, something I won't do as I use the display with internet radio without LMS sometimes (it's only lossy audio...). If TT3.0 couldn't kill display processes, I'd probably just go stock Logitech FW with external DAC. Plus the linear PS. Maybe killing the wireless is important too, but I wouldn't use the wireless for audio for so many other reasons anyways. As it is I have the router's wireless power down to the low mW range, just enough for the iPod/iPeng to reach the router about 10' directly over my head upstairs. Which brings me to the blank #5 (say): iGadget + iPeng.
