Kalo saya pernah gurah, tapi di pusatnya langsung di desa giriloyo, jogja. Kalo yang dijakarta, belom pernah nyoba. Gurah itu mengeluarkan lendir dari dalam badan kita (paru2 ??) . Caranya, hidung kita ditetesin , sekitar 2 tetes cairan ramuan. Nggak sakit kok. Ya seperti kalo lagi berenang trus aior kulemnya keminum. Setelah itu kita disuruh tiduran disebuah dipan, yang ada lubangnya. Lubangnya itu buat mengganjal muka kita, dan tepat dibawahnya ada ember. Kemudian punggung kita dipijitin selama kurang lebih 1 jam, katanya untuk memperlancar keluarnya lendir. Dan memang, setelah proses gurah selesai, kayaknya dada jadi plong gitu. Tapi saya pernah baca juga, kalo sesekali aja sih gpp, tapi kalo keseringan nggak bagus juga. Karena biar bagaimanapun, lendir itu tetap diperlukan di tubuh kita. Kalo lendirnya abis, malah bisa mempengaruhi metabolisme tubuh.
