Bug#421782: icedove doesn't notice remotely created IMAP folders
Hello Chris, some time ago this bug was opend by you. The reported version is'nt active in the current releases of debian. Did this behavior is still present in the current version of icedove? Did you check if there is a open bug on the bugzilla of mozilla? If yes can you please provide this bureport? For me I can't reproduce this behavior. After I collapse and reopen the entire tree I see all the folders in my IMAP account. The same of course happen if I restart icedove. Bug#421782: icedove doesn't notice remotely created IMAP folders
Package: icedove Version: 1.5.0.10.dfsg1-3 Severity: normal To reproduce: - Have icedove online and connected to IMAP server - Create a subfolder of INBOX not using this instance of icedove. I used squirrelmail to create a new folder. - icedove doesn't display the new folder in the list of IMAP folders, but does think it's subscribed when you check the "Subscribe" dialog. Right clicking on INBOX and selecting "Subscribe...", and expanding the tree under "Inbox" will show the new folder. In my case it also showed a checkbox by it to show that the folder is subscribed to. I had to unsubscribe from the new folder, click Ok on the "Subscribe" dialog, then go back in to re-subscribe in order for icedove to display the folder in the Folders view. -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.20-1-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_CA, LC_CTYPE=en_CA (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages icedove depends on: ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.13 Debian configuration management sy ii libatk1.0-0 1.18.0-2 The ATK accessibility toolkit ii libc6 2.5-5 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libcairo2 1.4.4-1The Cairo 2D vector graphics libra ii libfontconfig12.4.2-1.2 generic font configuration library ii libgcc1 1:4.1.2-5 GCC support library ii libglib2.0-0 2.12.11-3 The GLib library of C routines ii libgtk2.0-0 2.10.11-2 The GTK+ graphical user interface ii libjpeg62 6b-13 The Independent JPEG Group's JPEG ii libpango1.0-0 1.16.2-2 Layout and rendering of internatio ii libpng12-01.2.15~beta5-1 PNG library - runtime ii libstdc++64.1.2-5The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii libx11-6 2:1.0.3-7 X11 client-side library ii libxcursor1 1:1.1.8-2 X cursor management library ii libxext6 1:1.0.3-2 X11 miscellaneous extension librar ii libxfixes31:4.0.3-2 X11 miscellaneous 'fixes' extensio ii libxft2 2.1.12-2 FreeType-based font drawing librar ii libxi61:1.0.1-4 X11 Input extension library ii libxinerama1 1:1.0.2-1 X11 Xinerama extension library ii libxrandr22:1.2.1-1 X11 RandR extension library ii libxrender1 1:0.9.2-1 X Rendering Extension client libra ii libxt61:1.0.5-2 X11 toolkit intrinsics library ii myspell-en-us [myspell-di 1:2.2.0-2 English_american dictionary for my ii zlib1g1:1.2.3-13 compression library - runtime icedove recommends no packages. -- debconf information: icedove/browser: Debian -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
