We want to stay close the Meego infrastructure so that it's easy to make a meego system using debian package management instead of RPM and still being very close in terms of internal procedures to build packages and system images. Debian Packaging Meego Working Group
Hello, following the recent "Debian Mobile" thread on debian-devel@lists.debian.org, and the numerous discussions about packaging on meego-...@meego.com, it looks like that it would be a good idea to have an official Meego Working Group dedicated to Debian Packaging of Meego software. So I went ahead and drafted the proposal on the wiki: http://wiki.meego.com/Proposal_for_a_Debian_Packaging_working_group Interested people can register themselves in the contributors section and can also join #meego-debian on Freenode.
