[Bug 261084] Re: Suspends again right after resume

I'm seeing spurious suspends too, starting recently; I filed bug #425411. > Can you reproduce the double-suspend with version > 2.27.5-0ubuntu1.test1 in > https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-desktop/+archive/ppa ? [Bug 425411] [NEW] Computer suspends immediately after resuming
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager (This is an up-to-date Karmic AMD64 on a Thinkpad X61s.) Immediately after resuming from suspend, Ubuntu occasionally goes right back into suspend. Subsequent attempts to resume are still successful. This started a few weeks ago. I have only noticed this happening when AC power is unplugged between suspend and resume. Re: [Bug 353826] Re: Thumbnails in Nautilus have the wrong orientation
Actually, I think something funny is still going on here. I found that when I import photos from my camera (just copying via nautilus+gphoto; jaunty with latest updates), the thumbnails are incorrectly rotated. But if I clear .thumbnails/normal, the thumbnails subsequently generated are correct. [Bug 173721] Gnome keyboard layout options (like remapping Caps Lock) are not reapplied after reboot
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-control-center In Hardy Alpha 1, Gnome's keyboard Layout Options control panel (found on the Layouts tab of Keyboard Preferences) applies changes to the current session, but these changes are not reapplied after I reboot or logout/login again. This worked correctly on Gutsy. Steps to reproduce: 1. Keyboard Preferences -> Layouts tab -> Layout options... 2. Under "Ctrl key position" choose "Make CapsLock an additional Ctrl" 3. Close the control panel and observe that CapsLock now acts as Ctrl 4. Reboot and log in again. 5. Observe that the setting change is no longer in effect (CapsLock does not act as Ctrl). To restore it, I need to open up the Layout Options control panel and choose that setting again, even though it already appears to be selected. ** Affects: gnome-control-center (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Gnome keyboard layout options (like remapping Caps Lock) are not reapplied after reboot https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/173721 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug contact for gnome-control-center in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
