[Bug 1165742] Re: Synctex plugin was not built in raring

2013-04-28 Thread hove99
You guys may have already done this, but I managed to do a temporary fix
by downloading the quantal gedit-plugins deb and extracting synctex
plugin. I copied the plugin file and the plugin folder manually:

sudo cp -r synctex.plugin synctex /usr/lib/gedit/plugins

I have attached the necessary file and folder.

[Bug 204450] Re: Daylight saving in evolution / opensync

2008-03-21 Thread hove99
Hi Ralph

Yes, my version is 2.22.0-0ubuntu2. I am using libopensync0
0.19-1.2ubuntu1, opensync-plugin-evolution 0.19-1ubuntu2, opensync-
plugin 0.19-2, and multisync0.90 0.19.0-4.1ubuntu1.

I also noticed that when syncing to my K800i using opensync (with the
"Adjust for Daylight Saving Time" option ticked, the alarm/notification
times are 1 hour early (e.g. an alarm set to "1 hour before appointment"
is two hours before on cellphone).

Furthermore, when syncing to Google calendar using the opensync plugin
(0.19-2), Google gets everything right when the option is ticked,
otherwise the entries on Google are 1 hour ahead.

[Bug 45408] Evince wont print duplex

2006-05-18 Thread hove99
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: evince

I am using Evince 0.5.2 (0.5.2-0ubuntu2). I have added a lpd-printer of
type HP Laserjet 4250 PS and enabled duplex for the printer both under
printer properties and in the printing settings.

However Evince will not print in duplex, but both Adobe Acrobat Reader
and Openoffice will print duplex.

The same problem exists with KPDF (shall I post a seperate bug for
this?)

When I modify properties for a printer (System -> Administration ->
Printing), I can see the changes in ~/.cups/.lpoptions, but the changes
cannot be seen in (System -> Administration -> Printing). However, the
options seem to have gone in to effect, since I can enable and disable
duplexing.

[Bug 40016] Default Evolution encoding on new mail mesage

2006-04-18 Thread hove99
Public bug reported:

Affects: evolution (Ubuntu)
   Severity: Normal
   Priority: (none set)
 Status: Unconfirmed

Description:
I am using Evolution 2.6.1 (2.1.6-0ubuntu1) in Ubuntu Dapper Drake with
newest updates. When I set default character encoding to ISO-8859-1
under preferences -> mail preferences, my mail folders read the mail as
ISO-8859-1 by default. When I look under view -> character encoding, I
see that the "default" option is selected, no problem here.

However, when I create a new mail, this is not by default in ISO-8859-1,
as I have set. I have to manually set the encoding every time under edit
-> character encoding to ISO-8859-1. There is no "default" option here,
when I set the encoding. This means that people using windows (e.g. in
Denmark) will loose my special characters like æ,ø,å,ö and so on, if I
don't manually change to ISO-8859-1.

I think this will pose a problem, since I discovered this by chance. The
default settings should apply here also.
