Re: [Discuss-gnuradio] [OT] Greetings from Eric and a small favor...

Hello, Eric.

It has been quite a while I see your posting on the board. Most probably I
would be a stranger to you, but I met you at a couple of conferences.
It seems that you are a bit cautious or shy to post the request, but I hope
you know that you don't really have to be.

I tried to access the polling site with my smartphone but It seems like I
cannot reach there immediately. Don't know if it is the network or the
browser putting me in stuck. Gonna try it again with my PC when I get back
home. ;-)

Folks,

Though it is off topic of this mailing list, I hope the community is
generous enough to allow saying hello to the father of the project and
community.

 Hey Everyone!

It's Eric here. Sorry for being a stranger around here. [For those
of you who arrived since I've been away, I founded GNU Radio, wrote
most of the original code base, worked with Matt to bring the original
USRP and USRP2 into existence, and served as maintainer of GNU Radio
 for the first 9 years...]

Anyhow, I've been lurking here for the last few weeks, and I'm really
happy to see all the progress that's being made on GNU Radio, the new
contributors and the old hands at work, and all of the cool things
 you are doing with it.

I've been kicking around some product and service ideas, basically
looking to see where I should pour my life energy. In a break from my
usual Build It and They Will Come approach, I thought I'd ask you
for input before I get too far down the road.

I'd really appreciate your help on this.
Please help me out by taking this quick survey:

It won't take more than 5 minutes, and it'll help point me in the
direction of creating something that might be useful to you.

I'm looking for that magical intersection of creating real value for
you, and being interesting to me :)

 Thanks for your time,
 Eric
