  Steps to reproduce:

  1. Click on the battery indicator.
  2. Click "Show Percentage on Menu Bar" to enable it.
  3. Do it again to disable it.
  4. Battery indicator disappears

  Every time I log into my account in Ubuntu Linux MATE 18.04 The
  indicator applet complete crashes (Screen saving of the crash and
  applet included). Its a minor bug if you choose "Reload" the applet
  reappears and works just fine.

Bug description:
  install new ubuntu mate 18.04

  enable mutiny in mate tweaks

  setup 4 users

  login as one user

  switch users via indicator applet complete

  switch back to first user via indicator applet complete

  log out first user

  log in as any other user

  logout button in indicator applet complete no longer works for this user
  -also logged out users appear to be still logged via a checkbox beside the 
logged out user name

  using a system menu does work

  only way to restore correct behavior of logout button is to reboot

  I have some doubts on gnome fallback mode long term support in future
  gnome versions, and cinnamon and/or mate seems like sensible
  alternative. Except it has no global app menu i'm so used to. Hence i
  hope for indicator-applet / indicator-applet-appmenu to be ported to
  cinnamon. Judging by several easily googled out threads, i'm far from
  only one missing out mac style menu on panel in cinnamon. Can it be
  added?

   have a Logitech wireless mouse. The battery icon for the mouse is
