Adobe President and COO mentions FrameMaker
Interesting interview. Expecting customers to use the tool that's most appropriate for the job is kind of a stretch though. ;- ) Art On 5/17/07, Rick Quatro wrote: > There is a brief mention of FrameMaker in the following article: > > http://knowledge.wharton.upenn.edu/article.cfm?articleid=1741 > > Rick Quatro > Carmen Publishing > 585-659-8267 > www.frameexpert.com > -- Art Campbell art.campbell at gmail.com "... Re: Adobe President and COO mentions FrameMaker
True, but what impressed me about that interview is how he mentions a strategy. Microsoft's strategy has been to move into home/business user applications across the board, and Adobe's seems to be to move into professional applications across the board, which means that Frame will be promoted much as Photoshop is: the right tool for the professionals who do the job that requires it. This will cause other users in turn to see it as a valuable skill, even if they still use Microsoft Word for writing letters, recipes, playing tic-tac-toe, etc. --- Art Campbell <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Expecting customers to use the tool that's most > appropriate for the > job is kind of a stretch though. ;- ) User Interface design blog http://user-advocacy.blogspot.com/ Code::Design::UI::Consulting http://www.dionysius.com/ Looking for a deal?
