Re: [Frameworks] synching video projections

It's funny how something so simple is such a pain.. Dave Jones made a
really great device for syncing multiple DVDs, although they're a bit rare
and old school these days.. http://www.djdesign.com/

Probably the best free program is Zach Poff's multiscreener, which I
haven't used but heard great things about. He also has a great list of
alternatives and tips for using Max (cool but expensive program), media
players, etc:

2015-09-20 Thread Gisèle Gordon
I did quite a bit of research on this for my last two-channel synched
installation (with audio). The best way would be to rent or buy two media
players. I used bright signs, which seem to be where most video artists are
going, but everyone has their preference. They are a bit of a pain to
program (you have to use windows based software), but then once they are up
and running, they are very reliable. So if your installation is out of
town, or out of the country, like mine was, they are very stable.

PEL in Norfolk distributes Stil cans. May be pricey since they're "archival"
but worth a shot.

Hey Nicky,

Wittner Chrome in Germany is good too for cans and reels.

Best,

Esperanza.
