We only recommend using this filesystem on Linux systems with high-end SCSI and/or fibre channel storage and an uninterruptible power supply. Because XFS aggressively caches in-transit data in RAM, improperly designed programs (those that don't take proper precautions when writing files to disk and there are quite a few of them) can lose a good deal of data if the system goes down unexpectedly. >My XFS system has had unexpected lockups (caused by intermittently > flaky hardware) and power failures about a half a dozen times now, and I've > experienced no data corruption. [Freevo-users] minor problem after upgrading mplayer
Hello, Ran into a minor problem after upgrading to mplayer-1.0-pre6. But the same comman worked on pre5 without trouble. Another minor thing is tv-viewing (but this has never worked over here) ChildApp.__init__(), pid=736, app= /usr/bin/mplayer -vo xv -fs -nolirc -fs -slave -nocache tv:// -tv driver=v4l2:freq=17.525:device=/dev/video0:input=0:norm=PAL:width=320:height=240:outfmt=yuy2 , poll=-1 There is freq=17.525 in the line, but that should be freq=175.25 I use entrys as: TV_CHANNELS = [ ( '1.tvgids.nl', 'Nederland 1', '175.25'), and: FREQUENCY_TABLE = { '175.25': 17525, -- Groetjes Japie --- The SF.Net email is sponsored by: Beat the post-holiday blues Get a FREE limited edition SourceForge.net t-shirt from ThinkGeek. I converted the subtitle plugin back to original and added an "comercials" option by editing: fxdhandler.py mplayer.py videoitem.py That's working fine by adding an entry in the fxd like: movie_name.avi.edl > You are very > close to having created your own feature that others will certainly > use, again, good work!. I beleive that adding a black frame before and after the comercials is only used in Europe, so Azien and Amerikan users won't benefit from this option. [Freevo-users] minor trouble with freevo cache
Hello, Yust found a bug after running freevo cache. I have about 800 albums of mp3 on my disk, organized as: "/Artist/year - Album Name/track_no - File.mp3" In the Music menu all artists are shown except for one entry: "/Frans Bauer/2003 - Een Ons Geluk/(files)" wich is shown as "Een Ons Geluk"... Another folder wich ones contained an cover.jpg (not any more) still shows the image... This time I removed the cache dir and did NOT run "freevo cache" everything is fine and as it should be. Somehow "freevo cache" has a different approach for indexing than freevo itself. No big deal, but it's worth mentioning. (I think) -- Groetjes Japie --- This SF.Net email is sponsored by OSTG.
