Because despite the logo, it is easy to remap it to Super (in fact, Ubuntu seems to do that that be defaut). I for one like having another modifier. A Sun Type 6 or 7 USB programmers keyboard should offer a proper command key without windows logo as well. I don't have one to check the keymap with though. This does once again remind me that I should go looking for one on ebay. All the window managers i have used have all used Alt+Mouse1 for dragging windows around by default, but most of them have the option of reconfiguring this.
