I have downloaded and burned both of the Gentoo Games CDs (America's Army
and Castle Wolfenstein).
Both boot okay, go through their startup stuff up to starting X. It says
something like "Switching to ATI OpenGL interface" and familiar X startup
stuff flashes on the screen for an instant. Then the screen goes black.
I can't toggle to a VT or anything.
The numlock key continues to toggle the numlock light, so I am pretty sure
it is a graphics issue.
I have a Radeon 8500, which is supposed to work with these CDs. /proc/pci
(under RH9) says:

My questions are:
Is there a better place than this list to get help on this matter?
Is there a way to get a terminal so I can do some troubleshooting?
What troubleshooting is recommended?
