Hi, I am new to Gentoo. I followed the installation guide and the I tried to install X (and the nvidia drivers). When I tried to start X I just got the following error message: XIO: fatal IO error 104 (connection reset by peer) on X server ":0.0"
The error comes before X starts to load modules. I have asked on the XFree mailing lists but so far, I have had no luck following their suggestions. Does anyone here have suggestions on how to proced? Regards, Mike -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailing list
