Hi:
Thanks, Missed that somehow.
Selecting accounts with a account with children was unable to include that
in the report. so moved it to the parent & then I get it OK.
Perhaps it is not possible to choose both?
Still working on things but things are lookingup, thanks.

Chuck,

A parent account, e.g., Expenses will have a small triangle at the left end.
Click that and all the sub-accounts are displayed.

Please keep the thread on the mail list so others can learn, too.

1. Run the report.

2. Click the Options button on the toolbar.

3. Click the Accounts tab in the Options window.

4. Choose your desired accounts.

Any report that allows multi-account selection, offers this tab.

Regards,
Adrien

Hi:

Using Ver 3.8 on ubuntu 20.04.2LTS on an older HP 64 bit i7 machine..

I Want a report showing only selected accounts, Seems like Transaction
Report would work but can't find how to access specific accounts.

I seem to be missing something somewhere. Maybe I am just looking in the
wrong place or the wrong report type?.

HELP,

Have you tried edit => report options?

If not, I suggest  you investigate what ALL the options are available
for each report you want to run.

Might not be obvious, but you FIRST run the report and then use
"options" to make changes to it. For example, some reports are always as
of some date or date range.
