RE: [Histonet] Reagent rotation
We do it by number of blocks- At or after 350 blocks the processor is changed. About every 6 run for rotations and 12 runs for a full change out. But we also have another processor as well. We have a Sakura VIP6. Should the schedule of changing be based on number of runs vs. number of blocks processed? About 80% of our blocks are small GI biospies. Thanks in advance for your input. RE: [Histonet] Reagent rotation
We rotate by cassette number - our daily load can vary from 10 to more than 100 cassettes, so an exchange schedule based on number of runs was not appropriate.
