Re: [hlds_linux] Half-Life 1 Engine Update Released (fwd)

2008-10-30 Thread Stefan Reusch
Steam support said, we have a problem but i think valve has a problem
and not only one with the new protocol update.

Here you can see one of the "new features" from hl update.

Re: [hlds_linux] Qstat with CS since last update

2008-10-28 Thread Stefan Reusch
The rcon protocol has nothing to do with this issues.
Only the query protocol was changed, but valve has made some mistakes.
Changes, which made by rcon commands are not updated by the hl process
or my suspicion is, that they have caching included. The move from the
old goldsrc protocol to the new one from hl2 is not completly correct,
but i hope valve fix it the next time. coming soon, coming never, we
will see.

Re: [hlds_linux] Half-Life 1 Engine Update Released

2008-10-25 Thread Stefan Reusch
Hi alfred,

some problems with the new hl update. The map name is not updated
after a mapchange, which is send by the details packet and the
mp_timeleft/mp_nextmap doesn't work anymore. in most cases it is 0.
HLTV server havn't playercount anymore and the rules packet is
sometimes emtpy.

You can use HLSW that is showing the bots and you can filter what you want.
