Re: What is NETWORK STATION MANAGER?
I guess it is VM's support for the Network Station, an IBM attempt to provide a cheap thin client to as opposed to PCs. The PTF dates match: in 1998 I was part of the Java and NetRexx VM Redbook team (SG24-5148) and we used a Network Station as terminal. It hung several times per day and had to be rebooted. The Unix based code was then downloaded from VM. 2008/2/19, Alan Ackerman <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: > What is NETWORK STATION MANAGER? Re: Any Rumors?
I think the answer is you contact your IBM represenative. Of course, if IBM is trying to limit attendance, there may be limitations on who can attend (perhaps only managers, for example) so they may not be able to invite you. Re: Sunsetting a 9221
Hello Roland, If you are going to re-sell them, then 1 is the best. If you want to ensure that no one will ever see the data and you are not going to re-sell them use 2 and 3 and shred them. Take a look at the archives. Lots of people have talked about what needs to be done. What level are you required? So, be sure to maintain IOCDS with HCD from z/OS 1.5 or lower. Hope this help. Luis Ordonez At 03:25 PM 2/15/2008, you wrote: >Could someone tell me if z/OS 1.7 will run under z/VM 4.4 on a >2066?
