You could try a PRAM reset by holding down Command (the apple button) Control and P and R at the same time. I had a G4 that wouldnt start up but i could hear the hard drive spinning and such. The reset usually helped. I wrote in about a week ago for this same computer... symptoms are: computer does not start no chime no light no HD noise The only sound is when you plug in the computer and push the on/off button one can hear a small' bump' of power then nothing. This computer was working fine for just over a week after I bought it. (private party,not eBay or retail) No screen distortions, no color problem, no internet problems, no freezing, no glitches.
