Yup.. saya juga punya pengalaman seperti itu..
saya lupa jenis virusnya apa, yang pasti register editor saya waktu 
itu juga termodifikasi ama virus dan tampilannya sama berbentuk 
ASCII yang teracak.. dan sepertinya pengalaman mas ini sama..
Waktu itu data saya belum terlalu banyak sih, jadi kaga usah pusing 
saya format aja... wakakaka...
tau deh yg lain gimana solusinya tuk mengembalikan register editor 
ke semula.

Virus brontok biasanya mengubah dirinya menjadi icon folder.
caranya sih cukup mudah tapi merepotkan..
pengalaman saya :
1. log in windows melalui safe mode
2. Search melalui fasilitas search file or folder
3. cari file yang berextension *.exe
4. jika hasil searching sudah selesai, anda cari file yang berbentuk 
icon folder, tp berextension .exe
5. kemudian anda bisa delete file tersebut secara manual
6. abis delete file tersebut, jangan lupa tuk meng-empty-kan recycle 
bin
setelah itu, anda bisa restart komputer anda, dan scan ulang 
computer anda dengan program anti virus yang anda miliki.

Biasanya program anti virus tertentu sudah bisa mengenali virus 
brontok. 
Ciri khas virus brontok adalah anda tidak dapat mengakses regedit 
pada windows.

Masing-masing vendor modem ADSL memiliki settingan dan configurasi 
yang berbeda-beda.. 
Letak permasalahannya bukan pada operating system yang digunakannya..
Tapi brand atau merek modem ADSL apa yang digunakan..
Kalo modem ADSL creative, bisa ditanyakan ke saya deh.. saya udah 
cukup kenyang dikerjai ama modem ADSL creative, skrg udah berjalan 
dengan baik..

Saya PC-based CCTV. Pakai satu Server, bisa diakses oleh bbrp client.
Saya pake merek TelView, ya... lumayan deh. Kebetulan yg saya punya untuk 4
camera.
Servernya bisa lihat keempat kamera-nya sekaligus.

Silahkan Japri kalau perlu info lainnya.

Bener tuh kata mas tommy..
tapi kalo mau belajar dan gratis.. baca buku aja di perpustakaan 
kampus dimana aja..
kalo bisa sih belajar OS dari konsep pemikirannya terlebih dahulu..
misalnya : kenapa sih bisa timbul beragam OS yang ada di pasaran, 
selain buat nyari duit, apalagi keuntungannya..
Kalo dulu saya belajar, mulai dari ilmu yang namanya konsep 
teknologi.. itu ilmu cuma mengajarkan kita tentang mindset OS.. 
setelah udah puyeng baru deh belajar technical dari masing2x OS..

karena salah satunya adalah berkaitan dengan Security
System Dan IT.
dari segi Teknis;
1. Perlu diperjelas, Ruang Lingkup Area yang akan
dimonitor, sehingga bisa diketahui;
   Jenis Camera yang digunakan, 
   Apakah Indoor, Outdoor, perlu Zooming ? perlu
NightShoot ? perlu Motion detector ? (additional)
Jangkauan / jarak dari Camera ke Server...

2. Jenis Network yg digunakan, rata-rata sudah IP
base,

3. System pe-Rekaman (DVR) yang digunakan,

4. Fasilitas lain, Waktu perekaman yang dapat di
Program,

yang jelas sih perlu Survey dulu...

pake JAPRI aja, kalau ada yg mau dibicarakan lebih

Umumnya kalo computer sering restart itu karena ada masalah conflik 
dengan hardwarenya..
tp ada juga kasus komputer sering restart karena virus atau worm..
kira2x kejadian restartnya seperti apa yah.. 
Kalo komputernya baru dinyalain, dan udah masuk windows, kemudian lagi 
enak2xnya pake, tiba2x nongol window dari lssas dan windownya counting 
down untuk restart itu berarti komputernya kena virus..
Tp kalo komputernya baru dinyalain, pas loading windows, tiba2x 
langsung restart, itu berarti ada masalah konflik hardware..

Nah saya jadi bingung nih mau bantunya gimana.. abis informasinya 
kurang sih..
biasanya itu berhubungan dengan pointer domain..
kalo pointer domainnya udah mengarah ke situs pertama, dan anda 
ingin org mengakses ke situs kedua, Kenapa anda tidak membuat file 
yang tugasnya redirect ke situs kedua, kemudian file tersebut 
ditaruh di situs pertama..
tapi saya jadi bingung lagi, kenapa tidak anda daftarkan saja 
pointer domain anda langsung ke situs kedua..

  Dahulu saya pernah menggunakan software bernama "pc security" untuk memprotek 
dg pasword, menghiden, dsb., sekarang software tersebut entah kemana.
  Tapi kalau anda menggunakan w2000 atau xp, untuk memprotek file anda cukup 
mendaftarkan user buat orang lain tersebut, dengan membatasi ruang geraknya. 
Yang harus diingat jangan memberikan pasword administrator. Untuk lebih 
jelasnya silahkan cari buku security windows2000 atau xp. Mudah2han dapat 
membantu.

Masuk ke BIOS, periksa PnP clocknya, buat yang paling rendah dahulu,
misalnya 100 MHz / 100 MHz.

Kalau masih tetap tidak bisa, coba BIOS nya di reset dahulu.  Untuk men
reset nya, baca buku manual Mother Board.  Umumnya, saat komputer mati, ada
jumper yang harus dipindah untuk waktu sekian detik, setelah itu
dikembalikan dan dinyalakan kembali.

Kalau masih juga tidak bisa, mungkin power supplynya sudah tidak mampu
mencatu daya dengan cukup.

[ITCENTER] contoh proposal proyek IT (mas Sartono) hrp diperhatikan

Waduh..mas-mas, mbak-mbak...ternyata ngga sedikit yang minta di cc contoh 
proposal IT yang masuk ke inboxku (japri) dan yang beredar yang di milis. 
Padahal mas Sartono sendiri sampai sekarang belum memberi respon.

Pada dasarnya saya tidak keberatan untuk membantu rekan2 IT yang lain jika

sebuah folder (pake Password (kalau bisa) agar folder yang saya punya ga bisa 
dilihat atau diacak2 sama user yang lain)?, n jika menggunakan software, tolong

  Khan di website updatenya ada beberapa pilihan update, yang mana kita pilih 
kalau soft avg kita versi 5 (yg gratisan). bisa donwload yg mana aja? ada

Folder option ke tutup itu kalau andai computer anda kena virus berarti ke
brontok itu..dan kalau udah di hapus alias di basmi seharusnya folder option
anda akan terbuka secara otomatis begitu juga dengan regeditnya.

mohon share kalo ada yg pernah punya pengalaman yg sama
pc anywhere.. setelah login dari PC saya ke PC yg lain selalu error
seperti ini (attachment)
sudah aku un-install - restart - regclean - restart - re-install masih sama
dan saya coba dari PC lain remote ke PC saya, login bisa, tapi blank.
positip PC saya yg bermasalah.. tapi salah di apanya ya?

ohya, spek PC saya dan PC lainnya P4 3GHz RAM 512MB VGA 32 bit WinXP Pro

Scope ato ruang lingkup pekerjaan TI itu luas loh..
kamu jangan terburu-buru beli buku, takutnya kamu bingung dan tidak
fokus dalam belajar komputer..

Starting awal yg paling bagus dalam belajar TI adalah fokuskan dalam
satu bidang saja dulu..misalnya : bidang instalasi linux ato instalasi
dan trouble shooting windows server..

Nah, seteah kamu tetapkan satu bidang sebagai acuan tuk belajar, maka
kamu mulai deh cari2x buku yg berhubungan dengan acuan tadi..
belajar sampe kamu puas.. belajarnya jangan setengah-setengah..
at least kamu kuasai bidang tersebut sampe rasanya kamu muak..

yah kalo saya ibaratkan seperti maem makanan dalam 1 menu... maem
terus tuh makanan seberapa besar porsinya sampe perut kita muntah..
setelah muntah.. coba lagi maem makanan menu lain... gitu..

maka yg muncul adalah halaman yang ada di erwinnasution.blog.com ya?

kalu itu bisa di set sewaktu mendaftar domain-nya, biasanya ada menu
untuk menentukan bila orang akses ke situs pertama akan diarahkan
ke situs yg kedua.

atau bisa juga, bila anda menggunakan webserver sendiri, pake punya
wordpress kalo gak salah bisa di donlot trus atur segala macemnya
trus diupload ke webserver.

kalau saya sih transfer dulu dari handycam ke komputer. bisa pakai
berbagai macam cara, pakai virtualdub, pakai microsoft movie maker,
dlsb. lalu konversi (mungkin edit dulu ya) ke vcd, itu bisa pakai
tmpeg. lalu tinggal burn sebagai vcd, dalam hal ini karena dvd writer

disarankan agar convert dulu ke format vcd menggunakan tmpeg, karena
kalau menggunakan encoder dari nero, hasilnya mungkin kurang
memuaskan.

selain nero, ada software untuk burn cd namanya burn 4 free. software
yang saya sebut di atas semuanya gratisan, termasuk tmpeg. tmpeg itu
baru harus bayar kalau mau encode ke dvd, kalau ke vcd masih gratis.

Indonet ya,

Ok kalau begitu bilang aja begini pak.
E_mail yang ditujukan ke kantor bapak dilewatkan terlebih dulu ke Server 
Indonet.
Baru diteruskan ke Mail server bapak, Nanti mereka minta alamat email yang 
ada di mailserver bapak.
Untuk didaftarkan di server mereka.
Sehingga hanya email yang benar 2x ditujukan ke alamat email yang terdaftar 
yang akan diterima.
Selain mengurangi spam juga menolak penerimaan email ke alamat yang tidak 
terdaftar.

Itu saja sih pak.
Semoga Indonet mau bekerja sama dan mengerti yang bapak maksudkan.

mnrt gw sih distro terbaik adalah yg cocok buat keperluan kamu.

lha kalo window di dalam linux kan udah sejak dulu ada
maksudnya kan gui interface gitu?
cmiiw hampir seluruh distro udah bisa (kde/gnome)

saya pake ubuntu dapper di compaq presario
sound bagus, lancard nyala, wifi pcmcia card bisa, radeon juga support
yang belon dapat cuma nyalain modem built in.

kalau dari ground -> up IMHO belajar buku2 ini terlebih dahulu :
1. Yg mengajarkan tentang OS (in general), baru kemudian lebih fokus ke
OS yang digunakan atau yang ingin dipelajari
2. Yg membahas tentang komputerisasi aktivitas kantor (word editing,
worksheet, dsb)
3. Yang membahas tentang PC Hardware dan networking, bila anda tertarik
mempelajari seluk beluk perangkat komputer dan jaringan
4. Yang membahas trik2 maintenance, tune-up dan troubleshooting baik
software maupun hardware
5. Yang membahas tentang bahasa pemrograman secara general, atau bila
sudah punya pilihan tersendiri..pelajari itu.
kalau soal judul, penerbit dan pengarang sih terserah pilihan anda sendiri.
Di toko2 buku kan ada dan biasanya ga di-'bungkus' seperti komik2 pada
umumnya, jadi setidaknya anda dapat melihat apakah buku tersebut mudah
dipahami, bahasannya cukup sesuai dengan yang anda butuhkan, dsb.
Btw, scope IT luas dan bila dirinci akan banyak sekali, (tidak 5 point
sperti diatas).. itu hanya saran saya, selanjutnya anda bisa lebih
mengkhususkan diri dengan memilih topik2 lainnya.. Rekan2 lain?

2. Saya juga punya Mailserver sendiri Pak dan punya filter sendiri, 
cuma 
kurang optimal makanya saya minta tolong sama ISP dan mereka bantu 
ibantu 
dengan Anti Spam mereka. Dan hasilnya sangat kelihatan sekali.
Hal ini mungkin tergantung masing-masing ISP ya, tetapi prinsipnya 
bisa 
dilakukan.
Pakai ISP apa pak ?..kalau boleh tau.

kira2 bilang ke mereka bagaimana?
soalnya sudah pernah saya minta tolong masalah ini
dia (salah satu cust care-nya) bilang kalo masalah pengiriman
SMTP dia yang tanggung jawab,  kalo penerimaan gak bisa
soalnya langsung ke alamat saya.

Ok saya jelaskan, mohon maaf kalo melalui jalur umum
ini sesuai permintaan amigelz, tidak ada maksud
promosi disini.

Coding for Humanity adalah salah satu divisi di
perusahan kecil saya (J-DEVELOPMENT) yang bertujuan
untuk menyatukan programmer2 di Indonesia untuk
develop software yang akan kita pasarkan di dalam
negeri maupun di luar negeri. Keuntungan yang kita
dapatkan (setelah dipotong biaya operasional dan fee
programmer) akan disumbangkan ke Yayasan Jaring
Kemanusiaan Nusantara (yang baru saja saya dirikan
bulan Agustus 2006). 

Jadi dengan kata lain J-DEVELOPMENT adalah mitra
kemanusiaannya Yayasan ini bukan unit usaha dibawah
Yayasan, dan tidak menutup kemungkinan software house2
lain pun bisa menjadi mitra Yayasan.

Dana keuntungan project software, hardware, dll yang
disumbangkan ke Yayasan akan digunakan untuk membantu
anak2 yatim piatu, korban bencana alam, dll, dan dalam
1 thn ini target kita mengadakan gathering sekaligus
kegiatan2 amal/kemanusiaan seperti pengobatan gratis,
khitanan masal, dan target jangka panjang antara lain
mendirikan sekolah gratis (betul2 gratis lho,
nirlaba).

Ada yg tau gak software/tools untuk protect *.exe (after compile
build in vb,vb.net)dan bisa shareware by count, day, date or
version application ?

nb :
tapi kl bs menggunakan metode hardware finger print information cpu,
jadi dia ga bs menggunakan *.exe tersebut di komp lain ?

catt :
1.gwe dach coba tanya ma OM-GOG ketemu sich tp bayar he.. he..
2.coba di planetsourcecode dpt sich tp gak maksimal :p
