Rekan2, Saya ada server HP Proliant ML370 dengan 3 harddisk 72GB masing2. Install Winnt sudah dengan RAID 5 dan dibagi 2 partisi. Sekarang mo nambah kapasitas nih, harddisk yg sama tinggal 1 unit, bisa gak pasang dengan kapasitas yg berbeda misallnya 146 GB tanpa mengubah apapun RAIDnya atau softwarenya? dear all, kompi saya kena virus, masalah yang ditimbulkan yaitu kompi selalu restart lagi ketika login windows, kemudian pada drive C atau D jadi terdapat folder p4nd4w4, citra bunga lestari hot, lalu folder saya menjadi .exe smuanya. Saya sudah memakai AV kaspersky yang sudah diupdate, tapi tidak mempan, pake AVG juga gak mempan, bahkan pake PCMAV RC15 juga gak mempan. Anyway, thank you atas info dari temennya, yang penting saya sudah make sure kalo tanpa driver pun bisa. Kalo diliat di camcordernya sih ada indikator bahwa kabel DV / i-link sudah plugged. Tinggal si windows nya aja yang ga detect camcorder saya. Driver camcorder sudah terinstall, saya bisa streaming dan capture via usb, tinggal via firewire aja yg belum berhasil. Berharap mungkin ada problem di Windowsnya sendiri. BTW, Win XP SP2 punya bug di Firewire. By default dia lari ke speed S100 instead of S400. Berharap mungkin ada problem di Windowsnya sendiri. BTW, Win XP SP2 punya bug di Firewire. By default dia lari ke speed S100 instead of S400. Di tempat saya baru saja pasang dalam 1-2 bulan ini. Karena menggunakan radio, yg pertama tentu saja kekuatan sinyal sangat menentukan bagus tidaknya koneksi kita. Kebetulan sinyal di tempat saya pertama kali "bad" karena tidak bisa LOS (terhalang gedung). Setelah bbrp kali dilakukan pointing, akhirnya sinyal bisa sampai dikatakan taraf "cukup" bagus. Namun yang saya alami koneksi internetnya seperti kurang stabil, terutama jika dibandingkan dengan koneksi sebelumnya yang menggunakan lintasartha. Tapi ini belum tentu berlaku di daerah anda, karena yang saya denger di tempat-tempat lain responnya cukup memuaskan. Jadi ada kemungkinan masalah ketidakstabilan koneksi di tempat saya hanya karena masalah sinyal yang lemah ini. hardisk tsb, lalu anda copot dan pasang pada hardisk yg mau mau
diinstall Win-XP, berdasarkan pengalaman saya tetap jalan dgn baik
koq, gak restart terus. Kecuali anda install Win-XP bajakan yg sudah
dicrack. Klo anda install yg OEM dan belum diaktivasi gak bakal
restart melulu. Boleh anda coba klo tdk percaya.

Kepada yth : rekan2 milis Saya baru download satu buah file winrar dari sebuah website, tapi file tersebut waktu mau diekstrak minta password. saya udah coba crack pake Software = Advanced RAR Password Recovery 1.11 yang udah diregister dengan type of attack=Brute-force. Brute-force range option = -All caps - All small - All digits - Space. Lenght password = 5. Tapi permasalahannya sudah 2 hari passwordnya belum bisa dicrack. apa ada setingan yg kurang lagi ??? atau ada lagi software utk crack passwordnya yg lebih canggih. Dear all, Saya sekarang punya 2 dns server. Yang pertama memang sudah ada sejak dulu untuk meng-handle active directory yang sudah running dengan baik di windows 200 server ( abc.net ) dan yang kedua memang dalam taraf trial untuk mail dan webserver yang jalan di linux dgn menggunakan Bind ( def.com ). Dns yang kedua juga sudah berjalan dengan baik tetapi di komputer clien saya harus set primary dns-nya ke Bind baru bisa mengenali def.com tetapi tidak mengenali abc.net yang di komputer clien saya set menjadi alternate dns. Apakah yang harus saya lakukan agar dua domain itu agar bisa saling mengenali? Terima kasih sebelumnya atas bantuannya. Saya juga pernah ada pengalaman install OS di Laptop Portege ygtdk ada cdrom dan floopy, cuma USB aja. Akhirnya saya cabut hard disknya dan install dari Laptop lainnyapake OS win98 dulu, kalo saya langsung install pk OS winxp nanti pasharddisknya dipasang lagi ke laptop aslinya nanti tidak bisa running OSnya danselalu restart2 terus. Lain kalo dgn Win98 lgs bisa running paling cuma detectperangkat2 di laptop aja. Setelah selesai install win98, jgn lupa copy OS lainnya kalo maobuat upgrade. Baru pasang harddisknya ke laptop yg aslinya. Gitu aja cara saya, mungkin ada yang mao tambahin. David IT Staff PT. Sory saya lupa bilang. Sebelum anda format DriveC tsb, coba anda rubah file system Win-XP di DriveD dgn melakukan perintah CONVERT dari Command Prompt. Caranya masuk ke Command Prompt dan anda ketik CONVERT /? untuk helpnya. File system FAT32 harus diconvert dulu ke NTFS agar anda bisa baca partisi NTFS di DriveC. Klo anda kuatir ada file system yg hilang setelah anda format DriveC, tinggal pilih Repair aja dari CD Win-XP. Seharusnya sich bisa pulih kembali. Klo anda sudah terlanjur format DriveC dgn file system NTFS dan belum bisa mengakses driveC tsb, lakukan perintah CONVERT file system Win-XP pada DriveD tsb.
