Cara yang paling tidak aman:
* Tutup port port untuk browsing dan chatting.
Contoh perintah:
iptables -A FORWARD -p tcp --dport 80 -j DROP
dst

Cara yang cukup aman:
* Blokir semua koneksi, lalu buka HANYA untuk port 25 dan 110.
Contoh perintah:
iptables -P FORWARD DROP
iptables -A FORWARD -p tcp --dport 25 -j ACCEPT
dst

Cara yang lebih aman:
* Tutup SEMUA koneksi ke luar, kecuali dari mail server internal. Semua user 
mengeset SMTP dan POP3 ke server internal saja. Nanti si mail server internal 
ini yang membantu untuk mengambil dan mengirim mail dari/ke luar.
Contoh perintah:
iptables -P FORWARD DROP
iptables -A FORWARD -s ip-nya-mail-server -p tcp --dport 25 -j ACCEPT
dst

  kalo masalah harga pastinya sy kurang begitu tahu tapi sekarang dah masuk 
ke edisi Presentation Server 4.5 yg sebelumnya MetaframeXp dan stiap edisi ada 
beberapa versi 
  jadi kalo mo yg agak murah tinggal pilih edisinya apa dan pilih versi yang 
standar aja tapi memang dengan fitur2x yang terbatas

  untuk masalah lisensi memang harus beli lisensi citrix dan Terminal Server 
windowsnya karena kita tetap ngambil session windows servernya

1. ya maka Anda harus mengecrk apakah ada 
Firewall dari WS yang aktif coba anda matika ini harus mengunakan admin. jika 
tidak coba lakukan shering salah satu driver/Folder dari WS tersebut dan anda 
coba lagi.
2. jika Dommanin(WorkGroup) yang dinukan bebedah coba anda ganti WorkGroup 
menjadi sama dan lakukan hal diatas(Langkah Nomor 1).

  Ada yang tahu cara blocking user untuk mengakses hanya 1 plant atau business 
area saja di SAP authorization? 
Misal untuk transaksi biling, user A hanya dapat mengakses Plant Z1 saja.
Bukan di batasi di Activity groups (PFCG), krn yang di perlukan per user.

Bapak bisa menutup semua port kecuali port untuk Send & Recieve E_amil yaitu 
Port 110 dan 25.
Bapak bisa gunakan Router atau bisa pakai Software Internet Sharing salah 
satunya wingate nanti bapak bisa atur di atur di sana.
Jika ada yang kurang jelas bisa ditanyakan kembali

kayanya instalasi sambanya ada yang gak beres, file itu kalau tidak salah
berhubungan sama database user samba.

 

Mungkin baiknya install samba lagi dari awal berikut dependency nya yang
lengakp.

Mohon informasi, kalau ingin berlangganan Telkom Speedy yang unlimited untuk 
kantor, apakah benar ada yang harganya 750rb dan bagaimana prosedurnya.  
Setelah mendaftar untuk ikut berlangganan, apakah kita sendiri yang harus men 
set up nya dan hanya ada petunjuk tertulis, ataukah akan didatangi oleh 
karyawan Telkom dan mereka yang men set up nya ?.  Apakah modemnya harus beli

  Beberapa waktu yang lalu saya minta masukan bagaimana caranya agar server 
bisa mati dan hidup sendiri / otomatis sesuai waktu yang kita inginkan.
  Sekarang sudah berhasil, terimakasih buat semua yang sudah kasih masukan.

  Berikut cara yang saya pakai :

  1. Untuk Shutdwon Otomatis.
  Saya install software Auto Shutdown / Aquarius Softt Shut Down
  Fasilitas yang ada yaitu : Reset, Hibernate, Loggof, Stanby, Shut Down.
  Kita bisa atur sesuai yang kita inginkan baik hari dan jamnya. Yang paling 
lengkap Aquarius.

  2. Untuk Hidup Otomatis.
  Saya manfaatkan fiture yang ada di Bios ( tidak semua bios mendukung ).
  Dari yang saya coba yang mendukung dari Ami bios dan Motherboard Gigabyte. Di 
Motherboard Asus tidak jalan meskipun ada fasilitasnya.

  Akhirnya saya tidak usah repot kaau ada yang lembur, tidak usah takut kalau 
saya lagi tidak ada di kantor, dan yang pasti lebih hemat karena server hanya 
akan menyala ketika jam kerja.

  Demikian sharing dari saya , semoga berguna.

Block di routernya langsung. Kalau itu pake DSL router telkom, cari bagian
firewall, dan buat rule untuk block port http.

Kalau itu linux router login sebagai root, lalu issue command ini:

/sbin/iptables -A OUTPUT -p tcp --dport 80 -j DROP

dan kalau mau dibuka lagi isse this command:

/sbin/iptables -D OUTPUT -p tcp --dport 80 -j DROP

kalo masalah harga pastinya sy kurang begitu tahu  tapi sekarang dah masuk 
ke edisi Presentation Server 4.5 yg sebelumnya MetaframeXp dan stiap edisi ada 
beberapa versi 
jadi kalo mo yg agak murah tinggal pilih edisinya apa dan pilih versi yang 
standar aja tapi memang dengan fitur2x yang terbatas

untuk masalah lisensi memang harus beli lisensi citrix dan Terminal Server 
windowsnya karena kita tetap ngambil session windows servernya

Saya punya kasus di kantor saya internet nya sangat lambat oleh karena
itu yang hanya bisa menggunakan fasilitas internet pun sedikit.
Pertanyaan nya bagaimana caranya untuk membloking port http nya saja
jadi si user tidak bisa browsing dan chatting, hanya bisa menggunakan
outlook express untuk send/receive email.

1. di modem router anda biasanya ada software berbasis web yang bisa 
menentukan NAT. jadi melalui aplikasi ini set ip privat di PC anda 
dengan aplikasi NAT tsb agar mengarah salah satu ip publik yang 
diberikan. dengan demikian di modem router kantor anda telah di  set  
bahwa  ip PC anda  telah memiliki  sebuah  ip publik  tertentu

2. Kalo anda pake widows di PC kantor, install aja aplikasi server untuk 
remote desktop seperti VNC server, tentukan password dan data otentikasi 
lainnya

3. Nah dari PC ato laptop yang di rumah, gunakan VNC client jika anda 
memang memilih VNC sebagai server, setelah anda tersambung dengan 
internet. dialog VNC akan meminta ip tujuan yang akan di remot.

4. Sekedar info, kalo remot meremot berbasis GUI pakai aplikasi seperti 
VNC, Remote Desktop dll rasanya akan berat loadingnya, makanya kalau 
bisa remot mermot ini berbasis text/konsole makanya gunakanlah Linux 
pada PC anda :)

Dear rekan rekan IT
Saya sedang belajar buat web dengan ASP, namun binun buat form. 
bagaimana caranya misal ada dua text field. A dan B, field A dropdown 
menu. jika field A dipilih maka field B otomatis terisi, gue buat 
webnya pake Dreamweaver MX. bantuannya dong.
kalo bisa diJapri karena gue gak bisa connect ke internet. thank's

[ITCENTER] Berhasil membuat FTP

Dear all..

Thanks buat semua yang sudah kasih masukan.
Beberapa waktu yang lalu saya minta masukan cara pembuatan FTP di sini.
Waktu itu FTP bisa diakses dari Jaringan Lokal tetapi tidak bisa diakses dari 
luar.

Ternyata router saya yang tidak beres. Internetan sih bisa tapi untuk 
ngejalanin service port forwardingnya yang nggak jalan.
Ketahuannya setelah webmail juga tidak bisa diakses dari luar. Setelah saya 
ganti routernya dengan type yang sama ( kebetulan punya 2 )
Langsung jalan dan berhasil dengan baik.

Ringkasnya langkah-langkahnya sebagai berikut :
Untuk Under Windows.

1. Install IIS
2. Konfigure IISnya ( Kalau pakai software lain, bukan bawaan windows hal ini 
tidak perlu dilakukan )
3. Aktifkan Nat / Port Forwardingnya agar port 20, 21 diarahkan ke komputer 
yang dijadikan FTP Server
4. Lebih bagus lagi minta bantuan ISP dimana domain kita terdaftar untuk atur 
Recordnya agar ketika orang ketik ftp.abc.com  ( contoh ) lsg diarahkan ke 
kita. 
Jadi lebih simple.

Sampai di sini FTP sudah dapat berjalan dan dapat diakses dari luar.

Semoga berguna bagi yang membutuhkan.

Saya punya pengalaman setelah ganti OS dari win98 ke win XP untuk remote
pakai pc anywhere jauh lebih sulit untuk bisa konek dan kalaupun konek speed
nya sangat lambat sekali padahal waktu pakai 98 gak mengalami masalah ini
dan saya juga masih coba cari alternative lain untuk bisa remote ke computer
yang diluar kota. Untuk tambahan info lokasi remote pc nya ada di mal mal
dan so far koneksi internet nya pakai dial up (telkomnet). Biasa nya sich
paki koneksi yang modem kalau di pc anywhere dan bukan yang tcp ip

klo di cikarang speedy bagus juga kalo mlm, tapi kalo siang lumayan deh, pake 
3G-net.net bagus siang-malam, dari situ hotsport nya csm enga jahu murah dan 
cepat, udah coba di daerah cibitung pake speedy bagus,tambun juga bekasi apa 
lagi. apa2 aja yg di perlukan ? sepertinya umum aja seperti Pc minim pentium 3, 
4 lebih bagus,network( Hub,Rj 45,kabel),webcem,henset dan Ac dan jangan lupa OS 
nya yang ASLI jangan bajakan udah ada yg tutup gara2 kena denda OS bajakan,

sudah saya coba compact and repair, tetap saja ms accessnya minta restart.
troubleshoot yang sudah saya coba lakukan adalah
1. reinstall office. baik install office SP1 nya maupun install dengan update 
SP2
2. melakukan tes atas ms accessnya (bukan .mdb nya) dengan membuat blank 
database tetapi hasilnya sama dengan mdb/adp yg lain yaitu minta restart.

adakah yang bisa membantu? please solusinya.

mungkin bisa coba di compact & repair buka Ms Access (jangan buka 
file .mdb nya ya..) menu Tools/Database Utilities/compact and repair 
database/.. filih file mdbnya
