menurut gue sih,
kalo untuk server, dengan casing semacam simcool gitu mendingan power
supply nya jangan yang punya casingnya ... riskan .. soalnya power
supplynya misalnya 430 w gak murni segitu ...

tau kokoh apa tidaknya casing itu ditentuin dari apa ya?
dan untuk pemilihan casing server, apa aja yang perlu diliat?
apakah design untuk ventilasinya, design penempatan motherboard dll,
atau apanya?

Sebagai orang yang tahu IT, ada bagusnya jika kita juga punya standard
minimum. Kalau saya, misalnya punya standard minimum Server harga 10 juta,
kemudian ada yang minta dirakitkan server harga 5 juta, saya akan tolak.

gw pake simCool, krn mang budgetnya cuma bisa nyampe segitu.
(itu jg buat kantor teman kantor gw) dan dia OK.

klo yang gw pake di kantor sih, ga ada yg rakitan, semuanya branded. HP.
HP pake power supply keluaran BESTEC. (ga tau di pasaran keluar apa nggak)

SimCool lumayan buat yg punya dana terbatas sprti temen gw.
Tpi klo punya duit banyakan dikit, belilah semacam Enlight / Thermaltake / 
dll.

Intinya "Duit nggak bisa boong"

Wpy:
Casing Sim Cool lumayan bagus koq klo mau dijadikan sbg
server. Power supply yg include didalamnya sudah cukup
bagus. Klo kita beli baru casing sama power supplynya,
harganya saja diatas 300 ribu. Power supplynya saja bisa
seharga 250 ribu rupiah untuk yg sekitar 430 W atau 450 W.
Di kntr saya sudah ada 4 komp dekstop pakai casing SIM
COOL, sudah lebih dari setaon lebih gak pernah bermasalah.
Asalkan jgn mau pakai casing Simbadda Sim-V, Sim-X dan
Sim-BIO. SIM-COOL lebih bagus body casingnya dan
lebih kokoh. Di kntr saya aja pakai casing biasa untuk server
rakitan Win Server saja gak pernah masalah. Yg perlu
diperhatikan adalah power supply dan UPS yg digunakan.

Betul pak kemarin saya tanya yang extreme ini, harganya memang paling muahalll 
he 3x.
Akhirnya saya pakai Gigabyte yang sekelas dengan dia. 
Ya saya dengar merk Tagan cukup bagus dan mahal tentunya he 3x.

  mobo asus itu memang termasuk paling tinggi performanya. tapi harganya
  mungkin teralalu tinggi. dan dengan mobo lebih murah dan menggunakan

  lebih baik performanya. asus extreme cuma untuk orang yg sudah
  kehabisan cara untuk mendapatkan cara mendapatkan performa tertinggi,
  masa bodo dengan urusan kantong.
  Kalo mau cari psu yg bener2 hebat bisa cari antec, corsair tagan atau
  silverstone. Ada banyak merk yg lebih bagus, cuma yg ada tersedia dan

 HDD rencananya kalo memang gak ada vendor di ACEH yg bisa benerin, maka akan

Untuk bisa memutar file dengan extensi .FLV kalo nggak salah harus 
punya codec-nya.

Tapi kalo mau menikmati tampilan yang lebih baik, coba download K-
lite Codec Pack yang terbaru, trus muternya pake Windows Media Player

Kemungkinan WInfax anda di set untuk auto-receive dan dia memasukkan
init string yg cocok untuk itu, dimana string ini tidak cocok untuk
dial up connection.
Mungkin anda bisa menemukan init string yg cocok untuk dial up, dan
masukkan dia ke dalam init string yg akan otomatis dikirim ketika dial
up dijalankan. Di Windows DUN, ataupun Linux wvdial, ada kok feature itu

Ada sedikit "tapi" di sini :)
di chipset server, pada umumnya punya bandwitdh lebih tinggi di I/O
section. Jadi bisa punya 2 Gigabit Ethernet misalkan. Atau jumlah
PCI-X yg lebih banyak. Atau jumlah lane PCI-E yg lebih lebar.
Kadang dibutuhkan, kadang tidak, jadi kembali ke kebutuhan.
Tapi soal bandwidth antara processor dan memory, kebanyakan
motherboard PC Gaming sudah sekelas motherboard PC server. Kemungkinan
karena di PC masih paling banter 2 socket CPU

Windows tidak perlu loading driver untuk semua device tersebut.

Jadi sebenarnya tidak masalah menggunakan mainboard gaming untuk server.
Tapi perlu diperhatikan juga kestabilan mainboard, chipset dan BIOS, apakah
sudah cukup "mature" atau vendornya sendiri masih berexperimen dengan
setting BIOS, mainboard, dsb.

mobo asus itu memang termasuk paling tinggi performanya. tapi harganya
mungkin teralalu tinggi. dan dengan mobo lebih murah dan menggunakan
dana yg selebihnya untuk meningkatkan proseor atau memori saya yakin
lebih baik performanya. asus extreme cuma untuk orang yg sudah
kehabisan cara untuk mendapatkan cara mendapatkan performa tertinggi,
masa bodo dengan urusan kantong.
Kalo mau cari psu yg bener2 hebat bisa cari antec, corsair tagan atau
silverstone. Ada banyak merk yg lebih bagus, cuma yg ada tersedia dan
biasa dipake merk2 tersebut.

1. NAVISION asal nya bukan bikinan Microsoft. Microsoft mengakuisi perusahaan 
pembuatnya (like always). Mungkin karena MS merasa perlu memiliki divisi 
pembuat ERP kelas 'bawah'. Setahu saya Navision cukup bagus untuk finansial / 
supplychain. Axapta dan Great Plains pun sama. Hasil akuisisi. 

2. NAVISION tidak bisa dibandingkan dengan MSSQL Server atau Oracle DBMS. 
Karena posisinya mirip dengan SAP & Axapta. SAP bisa memakai Oracle sbg 
database back-end. Atau Axapta memakai MSSQL sbg database backend (DBMS).

3. Buku-buku, bisa cari di google (search 'Navision book', klik 3 teratas); 
lumayan dapet cuilannya. Kalau mau cari buku full yg bajakan ya info nya tdk 
bisa saya share disini ... :)

saat ini saya berkenalan.. .
menurut sepengetahuan saya, Navision itu ada semacam ERP yang dilauncing oleh 
Microsoft. Jadi kalo bisa dibilang, Navision itu adalah Aplikasinya sedangkan 
kalo kita bicara ORACLE atau SQL Server itu adatah database systemnya. By 
Default, Navision itu menggunakan SQL Server sebagai databasenya. Sbnernya 
Navision itu dah cukup bagus tp mungkin tenggelam kalo dibandingkan SAP. nuk 
sekarang kayaknya Navision dah discontinued. Dulu seangkatan Navision itu 
Microsoft mengeluarkan ERP software yaitu Great Plains dan Axapta. tp sekarang 
semuanya mungkin dijadikan satu bundle yang namanya Microsoft Dynamix AX. Untuk 
buku megenai Navision kayaknya gak ada, jd mungkin anada bisa brosing aja 
resource tentang Navision. Soalnya Navision itu adalah aplikasi spesific 
seperti halnya SAP atau Peoplesoft berbeda dengan SQL Server atau ORACLE yang 
merupakan database system yang bisa diaplikasikan ke aplikasi yang lain

Wah juauh buanget sampe ke aceh
saya pernah baca di selebaran kertas yang di tempel di meding waktu jalan-jalan 
ke harco mangga 2, kalo Oom Erwin ada waktu coba jalan-jalan ke Harco Mangga 2, 
DI LIF PARKIRAN BASEMAN ada mading dan kalo gak salah sampe sekarang belum di 
copot, disitu tertulis MENGEMBALIKAN DATA HARDDISK RUSAK. pengalaman saya yang 
sudah di jalani kemungkinan data kembali 50% tapi tidak ada salahnya untuk 
mencoba.

saya pakai R-Studio 3 mas, lumayan bagus..
tapi data yang tercover tidak terstruktur seperti asalnya..(nama 
folder berubah). cari di "rapidshare".
saya lihat di option yg ada,anda bisa akses by network juga. namanya 
R-studio network.(option ini belum pernah saya pakai)karena biasanya 
untuk kasus begini saya minta dikirim HDDnya saja. 
getdataback juga pernah pakai, tapi ada pengalaman beberapa file xls 
(yg acces protected)isinya jadi kosong melompong..

mudah2an bisa membantu

itu bergeser,.buka printhead apakah ada yang nyangkut disitu(masih antara

Saat mencetak apakah ada bunyi keretek-keretek atau tidak ? 
Kalau tidak ada bunyi keretek-keretek berarti head printer tidak 
menusuk-nusuk pita dan berarti headnya yang tidak bekerja. Headnya tidak 
bekerja, antara lain kalau ribbon cable nya, yaitu kabel tipis pipihnya, 
isinya ada yang sudah putus.
Kalau ada bunyi keretek-keretek, berarti head printernya OK, namun kalau 
tidak ada hasil cetakkan, bisa dikarenakan posisi head terlalu jauh atau 
bisa juga pitanya yang tidak bergerak, sehingga head mencetak di posisi 
pita yang sama, sehingga pitanya berlubang dan akibatnya tidak ada hasil 
cetakkan.
Matikan printernya, sekarang gerakkan head nya ke kiri ke kanan dan saat 
digerakkan, maka tuas pita printer harus berputar. Kalau tidak berputar, 
itu penyebabnya.

bagus, saya juga sudah mencoba mengganti pita printernya tapi hasilnya

Jangan samakan PC untuk SERVER dgn untuk yang GAMING 
motherboard utk PC gaming biasanya dilengkapi oleh berbagai 
port2&konektor2 yg mewwwah.
seperti, firewire, slot sli atau agp, usb yg banyak, dll.
tpi itu semua tidak mutlak diperlukan untuk sebuah server.
malah akan menghabiskan resources motherboard tsb.

saran saya;
klo mang mo ngerakit server,
lebih baik pilih mobo dengan chipset yg didisain utk server.
baik itu untuk pros AMD atau INTEL.

Tertarik cuma selama ini pakai asus nggak suport untuk otomatis nyala sesuai 
jam yg telah di set.
Sementara saya mau server saya nyala sendiri. Jadi saya putuskan pakai Gigabyte 
GA-p35-DQ6

Untuk Englight EN- 4107 Power 580 Watt harga : $ 130 kalau power pakai acbel 
yang 550 watt kena & 155

Casing pake SIM-Cool.
(factor size mobo intel S3000AH cocok buat casing2 yang biasa, sperti 
SIM-Cool dan teman2nya)
OS : windows2003 server R2

so far , nyala 24 jam non-stop , gw jadiin DC plus AV server , 
alhamdulillah aman2 aja.

harga kurang lebih 470$, mahal di Motherboard.

Saat mencetak apakah ada bunyi keretek-keretek atau tidak ?  
Kalau tidak ada bunyi keretek-keretek berarti head printer tidak menusuk-nusuk 
pita dan berarti headnya yang tidak bekerja.  Headnya tidak bekerja, antara 
lain kalau ribbon cable nya, yaitu kabel tipis pipihnya, isinya ada yang sudah 
putus.
Kalau ada bunyi keretek-keretek, berarti head printernya OK, namun kalau tidak 
ada hasil cetakkan, bisa dikarenakan posisi head terlalu jauh atau bisa juga 
pitanya yang tidak bergerak, sehingga head mencetak di posisi pita yang sama, 
sehingga pitanya berlubang dan akibatnya tidak ada hasil cetakkan.
Matikan printernya, sekarang gerakkan head nya ke kiri ke kanan dan saat 
digerakkan, maka tuas pita printer harus berputar.  Kalau tidak berputar, itu 
penyebabnya.

Kenapa modem dial-up saya selalu gagal waktu mau login ke ISP, pada sesi
:
"Verifiying user name and password", tapi kalau POWER-nya di ON/OFF jadi
normal lagi.
Kenapa ya? Apakah harus ada string untuk reset modemnya..

pernah jg dl pake Norton ghost, cuma kadang2 gagal.

alhamdulillah selama ini pake acronis lancar tena...

Pakai Norton Ghost 2003 
kalo untuk tutorialnya gak ada, tapi kalo lebih simple pakek ghost jadi 
gak usah install os lagi prosesnya lebih cepet paling lama 15 menit

Sahabat IT,
  Gimana caranya protek komputer supaya tidak bisa browsing internet pada 
koneksi dial up tapi koneksi harus bisa digunakan untuk email. (hanya bisa 
email tidak bisa internet).
  Kalau diprotek tidak bisa Iexplore.exe, mereka bisa menggunakan Firefox atau 
Opera.
  Mohon bantuan cara proteksinya misalnya disallow port 80, tapi gimana caranya?

Kepada teman-teman it,
  saya ingin menanyakan bagaimana yah caranya repair printer lx-300+ karena 
setiap saya print hasil printnya tidak jelas, saya sudah mencoba mengganti 
dengan printer epson lx-300+ yang lain di pc yang sama tapi hasilnya bagus, 
saya juga sudah mencoba mengganti pita printernya tapi hasilnya tetap sama. apa 
yah yang harus saya lakukan? mohon bantuannya dari teman teman semua.
  apakah ada panduan untuk menjadi teknisi printer (buku, website, dll) ?

Dari gmail account, coba kamu click setting, lalu pilih 'forwarding & pop'
lalu lakukan aktifkan POP3 and SMTP sesuai dengan instruksi disana
(cukup jelas kok guidance nya).
Juga disana ada pilihan settingan melalui email client
