Goal anda adalah memberikan dhcp di lan dan wifi, dengan segment berbeda antara 
wired dan wireless namun ingin tetap bisa terkoneksi ke server

Existing network anda sbb (mohon dikoreksi jika salah) 

- server terkoneksi ke switch
- client wired terkoneksi ke switch
- fortigate sebagai router terkoneksi ke switch
- ruckus sebagai AP (bridge) terkoneksi ke switch

Ada beberapa hal yang bisa dilakukan, 
1. Membuat segmen baru di interface fortigate yang kosong, dan menyambungkan AP 
ruckus ke interface baru tsb, dhcp server bisa diberikan oleh server dengan 
direlay oleh fortigate

Atau, 
2. AP ruckus dirubah mode nya menjadi Router, dan melakukan NAT, ap ruckus 
diberikan ip 192.168.100.x
(Interface cable) Dan dia menjadi dhcp server untuk segmen baru, let say 
192.168.101.x/24 (interface wireless)

3. Agar segmen wifi dapat mengakses server, alternatif selain nat adalah bisa 
memberikan static route di router fortigate dan server yang ke segmen 101.0/24 
gateway nya 100.x (ip lan ruckus)

hi Pak Faisal,

Sory baru sempat membalas emailnya kembali

jadi skrg ini, router wirednya menggunakan fortigate, kemudian untuk dhcp nya 
itu kita install di server kita sendiri (bukan mengaktifkan dhcp di router). 
Tadinya saya sempat mencoba dengan memperbesar subnet di jaringan kami menjadi 
255.255.254.0 , kemudian menyalakan DHCP di router wifinya (merk ruckus), jadi 
setiap yang menggunakan wifi maka otomatis konek ke DHCP wifi.. cuma ketika 
saya cek, DHCP nya itu tidak bisa terkonek ke internet.

Kira2 ada kesalahan dimana yah

Starwind itu under windows operating system jadi install windows dulu di vmware 
terus install starwind deh untuk lebih jelasnya bisa kunjungi web reminya 
jangan kunjungin ane yah gan,, :) dan kalo Freenas itu di bundling jadi satu 
sama OS kalo gak salah linux deh, bisa running langsung under vmware 
workstation or Vmware ESX jadi kalo mau explore lebih gampang deh,, selamat 
mencicipi, semoga tidak stress dengan mainan barunya,,

2. Freenas =  http://www.freenas.org/

Kalo cuman mau test test "compute storage" alias storage SAN+NAS yang berbasis 
PC, rata rata banyak yang sudah dibundle dalam bentuk VM, jadi tinggal 
dijalankan di VMware ESX, VMware Workstation, atau VirtualBox.
Alternative lain ya download dalam bentuk installernya, biasanya ISO file, lalu 
setup sendiri ke dalam VM bentukan baru.

Yang bisa free dan saya pernah pakai adalah :
a. FreeNAS (FreeBSD based)
b. OpenFiler (Linux based)
c. EON (OpenSolaris based)
d. NexentaStor (under 8TB) atau pilih yang Open Source Edition (NexentaOS 
based, fork dari OpenSolaris)
e. demo VM dari Dell EqualLogic (Linux based)
f. demo VM dari Oracle Unified Storage (OpenSolaris based)

Tentu saja ada hukum fisik yang berlaku, yaitu untuk bisa menampilkan suatu 
kapasitas sekian TB, anda perlu juga mempunyai kapasitas real hard disk raw 
sekian TB juga.
Selain itu juga VM VM ini sekedar untuk pembelajaran fungsional. Walau jalan, 
tapi tetap saja kemampuan service IOPS-nya rendah, jadi jangan dijadikan 
production storage.

[ITCENTER] Exchange - SQL

Mohon pencerahannya:

Saat ini IT kantor customer saya ada keperluan untuk menyimpan setiap email 
yang masuk ke salah satu account Outlook (MS Exchange) ke dalam database SQL 
Server.

Yang diinginkan adalah integrasi langsung dari mailbox Exchange Server ke SQL 
Server agar seluruh email di inbox (salah satu account) bisa mereka simpan 
dengan format yang menyerupai Outlook (ada informasi tentang From, Subject, 
Sent Date, Receive Date, Body Email, dll), sehingga mereka bisa melakukan Query 
untuk membuat aplikasi di atasnya.

Kesulitannya hingga saat ini mereka belum ketemu cara yang efektif untuk 
melakukannya. Apakah ada yang bisa membantu?

Apakah memang memungkinkan untuk integrasikan mailbox pada Exchange ke SQL 
database?

Mohon bantuan para mastah sekalian :).

Dear All,

Mau tanya pertanyaan bodoh dong, 

Saya membuat Active Directory dan telahberhasil membuat user terkonek ke domain 
dari komputer client

Pertanyaan :

1. Saat saya buat Active Directory Domain Services, apakah LDAP otomatis juga 
terinstall.
2. Bila tidak, adakah keyword untuk menginstall LDAP ?
3. Bagaimana melihat ACLs (Access List di Windows) ?

   - Familiar with AutoCad and Visio

ini sudah jadi barang umum. Mau beli merek apapun, OEM-nya dari Cina itu itu 
juga. Harga juga sudah murah. 1 tahun dipake terus lalu jebol, tinggal lempar

hi Pak Faisal,

Sory baru sempat membalas emailnya kembali

jadi skrg ini, router wirednya menggunakan fortigate, kemudian untuk dhcp nya 
itu kita install di server kita sendiri (bukan mengaktifkan dhcp di router). 
Tadinya saya sempat mencoba dengan memperbesar subnet di jaringan kami menjadi 
255.255.254.0 , kemudian menyalakan DHCP di router wifinya (merk ruckus), jadi 
setiap yang menggunakan wifi maka otomatis konek ke DHCP wifi.. cuma ketika 
saya cek, DHCP nya itu tidak bisa terkonek ke internet.

Kira2 ada kesalahan dimana yah
