[ITCENTER] Koneksi Windows ke Linux
Dear All, Mohon pencerahan dan informasinya. Saya masih tergolong baru dengan SO Linux (newbie) dan di tempat saya bekerja saat ini masih menggunakan SO Windows Server 2003 dan Windows XP Sp 3. Untuk kedepannya saya ada rencana untuk migrasi OS di Server dari Windows Server 2003 ke Linux. Dan Linux yang dipakai rencana nya Mandriva 2006 atau Ubuntu 8.10 for Server. Yang saya mau tanyakan : 1. Program tambahan untuk menginstall SQL Server 2000 di Linux ? 2. Mapping folder share dari Windows Xp ke Linux 3. Menjalankan program aplikasi yang ada dikantor (program After Sales) yang ada di Windows XP dan program tersebut sebelumnya diinstall di server (jadi terhubung). Demikian dari saya. Di laptop saya ada slot GSM yang letaknya di bawag batere, pada saat saya pakai Vista semua drivernya ke detect cuman setelah saya ubah ke Win Xp, ternyata driver nya tidak ada dan juga sudah saya tanyakan ke Dell Support nya kata mereka coba kontek providernya gsm yang bersangkutan. Dear Ari, Coba restart Windowsnya lalu masuk ke Safe Mode ( Tekan F8 sebelum masuk window ) Lalu coba uninstall PCMedia Guard/shield-nya. lalu restart komputer. Jika menyelsaikan masalah maka memang PCMedia penyebabnya. Pengalaman pribadi saya PCMedia Guard belum stabil jadi sebaiknya jangan di-loading setiap masuk windows. seperti itu sudah pasti nge-hang processornya...
kemunginan besar fan dan pendingin processor kotor, coba dibersihkan atau ganti

Setausaya standar suhu yang masih normal Pentium 4 itu dari 40 - 60 derajat
celciusdeh.
Kaloudah sampe 100 derajat celcius mah itu pasti ada yang gak bener. Mank

Bisajuga dari ruangannya yang panas tidak ber-AC.
Cobaaja fan pendingin processor diganti dulu untuk ditest apa masih
tinggitemperaturnya.

Sekedar sharing, saya pernah integrasi Car PC untuk direction finding system. Memang kebanyakan concernya di power supply... Versi awal, inverternya dikasih oleh pihak karoseri. tapi jelek, sering shutdown karena over-temperature. Kekurangannya: disamping kualitas inverter jelek, berbahaya karena ada tegangan listrik AC. Versi kedua, modif UPS ambil inverternya aja, tapi bahayanya ada tegangan listrik AC. Kebaikannya, apapun komputernya atau perangkat yang akan dipakai 'tinggal colok aja'. Kekurangannya Versi ketiga, pihak supplier perangkat ngasih kabel power untuk notebook Toshiba. Jadi ujung kabel tersebut bisa langsung dicolok ke cigarette lighter. Kebaikannya aman, karena nggak ada tegangan tinggi. Kekuranganya hanya untuk notebook Toshiba atau notebook yang memiliki colokan power DC seperti milik Toshiba. Versi keempat, rencananya pake all-in-one PC (sebenernya sih untuk point of sale kali ya? tapi kebetulan speknya memadai) - bisa liat di http://www.touchwindow.com/miva/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=TouchWindow&Category_Code=CWT Kelihatanya sih simpel, lebih mudah dipasang. Tapi harganya mahal banget! AFAIK - basically, alat untuk konversi analog ke digital itu adalah analog to digital converter (ADC) - itu biasanya pada design board level. Tapi kalau bentuk yang udah jadi bisa berupa data acquisition system (DAQ), atau PLC (programmable logic circuit) untuk perangkat industrial. PLC ada banyak pilihan, tergantung besaran analog yang akan diukur. Tentu saja keluarannya sudah berupa data yang bisa di-customize menurut kebutuhan atau untuk melakukan action sesuai yang dikehendaki. Mas Ari bisa coba beberapa alternatif; --- Menggunakan Booster dengan gain lebih rendah. --- Memindahkan Antenna agar tidak terlalu banyak terhalang gedung. Gedung berpotensi menghasilkan refleksi gelombang sehingga menimbulkan efek 'ghosting' atau gambar mendua. --- Menggunakan yang lebih baik, misalnya antenna dengan jumlah elemen lebih banyak dengan pengarahan yang lebih baik (diarahkan ke Joglo, karena sebagian besar stasiun transmisi TV ada di Joglo, kecuali RCTI, SCTV, SpaceToon, GlobalTV di Kebon Jeruk dan TV7 di Cipondoh dan TVRI). Tentu makin jauh dari lokasi, sudut pengarahan Antenna akan semakin kecil sehingga cukup pake satu Antenna saja. Hindari juga penggunaan antenna (VHF dan UHF). Yang sudah pake sih P3, tapi lupa berapa MHz. RAM 256, HDD40GB. Kalo mau direkam, hubungan antara DVR-Kamera pake kabel Coaxial 75Ohm untuk video dan kabel audio biasa untuk audionya pak. Tentang jarak, saya nggak tau pasti nih. Cuma spek sinyal Video standar PAL itu tegangan puncak-ke-puncak (peak-to-peak) nya hanya 1Vpp. Jadi kalau jarak jauh, khawatir hilang sinyal sinkronisasi, berakibat gambar jadi rolling. Untuk jarak jauh tambahkan Video Buffer aja. Kamera-nya sih pake kamera jenis apa aja, bisa dari jenis CMOS yang murah-meriah atau CCD (harganya hampir 4x kamera CMOS). Bentuknya juga macem-macem, dari yang standar, hidden atau PTZ (bisa bergerak dan zoom). Sebaiknya sih di remote dan kantor pusat bandwidthnya sama. Sementara untuk eksperimen (karena hanya untuk monitor 1 kamera saja), saya pake Dial-Up, walaupun putus-putus berat. Yang baru saya coba untuk remote monitoring lewat aplikasi-nya si Telview (included), belum coba pake browser Dengan bandwidth 256kbps bisa didapatkan tampilan lebih 'live' - gerakannya lebih halus untuk 1 kamera saja. Tapi beberapa kamera tetap bisa dimonitor dalam mode 'tile' misalnya 2x2, 4x4, dst... Sole agent disini PT. Suryaniaga Lokalestari, contact person-nya ibu Lanny 0852-20045046. FYI, untuk 4 kamera CCD biasa (tidak PTZ) dan 1 card DSS 4 port (tidak termasuk PC / DSS Server) budgetnya kurang dari 10jt-an. Minta mereka demo dulu aja, mereka nggak keberatan kok. Kalau hanya 'plain text' e-mail saja, dan tidak terlalu sibuk, bisa pakai Radio Packet Modem. Yang dibutuhkan radio (HF-SSB (untuk jarak jauh), UHF atau VHF untuk 'lokal') dan modem radio paket untuk masing-masing lokasi. Jaringan ini berbasis radio sepenuhnya, menjalankan protokol AX.25. - walaupun sudah ada yang support (gateway) ke jaringan TCP/IP. AFAIK, masih banyak yang gunakan, termasuk di Jakarta, kalangan radio amatir dan pemerintahan. Kekurangannya, speed-nya sangat rendah (9.6-19.2kB/s) karena bandwidth radio jalur ini sempit banget (berkisar 3-25kHz saja). [ITCENTER] Win XP selalu ke dos prompt
Dear It-er Mohon bantuannya dong, teman saya ada masalah dengan computernya, computer tsb di install Win XP, biasanya kalau dinyalain selalu ada password bios terus masuk password dari win XP nya dan bisa dipergunakan, tapi hari ini begitu mau masukin password di win xp nya selalu restart ke dos prompt... Kalau coba di F8( Safe Mode ) setelah masukan passwordnya selalu larinya ke dos prompt. Ini kena virus atau kenapa yah?mohon advice nya dong..please...Thanks yah. Saya ada pakai didaerah Cengkareng / Kosambi Baru. Kalau sinyalnya harus ada 4 bar kalau kaga, kaga bisa koneksi, dan kalau idle/diem aja pasti disconnect.Kalau bisa koneksi speednya cukup lumayan kira2 56 Kbps (pakai GPRS counter ) segitu ajah yg bisa saya info kan.
