Keterangan:

- Mikortik ISP2 dengan DHCP / coverage wired connection
- Router AP ISP 1 dengan DHCP / coverage wifi connection
- DHCP wired mikrotik dan DHCP router AP 1, beda segment


Apakah akan stabil jika topologi spt diatas.
Topologi spt diatas untuk menghemat kabel dari radio ISP 1 menuju Router AP
ISP 1,
memanfaatkan kabel yg sudah terinstall.
Owner memang ingin di bedakan koneksinya(ISP) wifi dan wireless.

Dear ITers,

Kebetulan sedang bantu teman lama, saya lihat dia punya system agak janggal.
Pertama, Server tidak memiliki domain dan active direktori (win server 2008).
Kedua, User akses aplikasi dengan remote desktop ke server tsb.

Pertanyaan saya,
Amankah jika pada kondisi aplikasi beserta databasenya sudah
terinstall pada server, saya installkan domain/active directory.

Saya coba lebih detail ya Pak..
Saya lanjutkan email sy sebelumnya.

Tapi kyknya bukan di mdb nya.
Jadi aplikasi ini utk menghasilkan output yg sama hrs sama usercodenya, itu
bukan login atau password. Makanya sy bilang ini lbh tepat klo disebut
installation ID, krn setiap install baru akan beda dia. Saya fikir dia
nempel di application data @user folder. Karena sya coba running di user yg
baru sy buat ternyata dpt ID yg beda lg pdhl msh 1 PC.

Ada program yg klo di install di pc lain, user codenya harus sama dgn
installan yg sdh running.
Petunjuknya dari vendor di China hanya masuk ke About lalu 'alt+F5'
muncul text field form kosong utk masukin id baru.
Tapi sama sekali gak berubah, sudah saya pake akun admin di winnya,
sudah di safe mode, sudah saya buka file2 di folder instalasinya pake
notepad, gak ada clue sama sekali.

saya lihat dia pakai msaccess.
Apakah rekan² Ada petunjuk untuk saya?

karena saya belum coba fortinet, saya gak bisa komen deh :)
Dulu hampir beli, dan very² expensive ya belum lagi ada annualnya. Lalu
saya share disini kalo tidak salah.
Lalu ada yang komen, yang intinya fungsi dan fiturnya sama, bahkan isinya
ya OS juga.

Bisa jadi smoothwall lebih cepat, karena smoothwall yang jalan di Core2 duo
dengan memory yang lumayan, ya performanya pasti mantap.
karena smoothwall saya dulu hanya di PC PIII dengan memory 512 kalau tdk
salah, sampai sekarang masih di pake tuh di kantor lama, saya setup tahun
2006 2007 lupa.

Hi rekans.

Saya sedang cari solusi utk event live conference/ streaming antara jakarta
dan bali. Masalah ketika lokasi Bali masih dalam bentuk proyek bangun belum
ada infrastruktur apa2.

Untuk isp yg support service ini mungkin bisa ikutan. Yang siap utk sewa BW
sehari saja.

coba liat di root dan folder2nya apakah ada file2 atau folder yg aneh,
selain milik joomla.
ini setiap buka di redirect ke alamat lain ya? klo gak salah ini ada script
nempel di index.php nya, coba cek.
kalau sdh solved, usahakan update ke latest version pak.

Hi all..

Saya berniat untuk melakukan perubahan IP pada sebuah PC router. PC router
ini juga sebagai mail server dan firewall.
Pertanyaanya apakah jika IP pada ethernet LAN atau WAN nya saya update,
lalu secara otomatis IPtable akan update mengambil nilai dari IP address
pada eth0 atau eth1 yang baru.

Dear Suhu2 IT.
Mohon bimbingannya untuk mempelajari IT Risk Security. dicoba cari di
google gak menemukan bahasa yang spesifik
untuk mempelajari bagian tersebut. Yang ingin saya pelajari, dimulai dari
mana tahapannya dan sampai tingkat mana?
- cara melihat log ( ada yang coba masuk network, antivirus gak ke update,
virus ke tahan, trojan,dll sampai tingkat dimana
hardware udah waktunya diganti)
- Software2 apa aja yang dipake dan penggunaannya
- Back up data server dengan baik sebelum terjadi hal2 yang tidak diinginkan
- mungkin ada sertifikasinya, namanya apa yaa?

Singkat cerita tadi abis ketemu teman yang interview. dan dia menceritakan
apa yang diinterview. Saya dan teman penasaran
dan ingin mempelajarinya. basic kami dari networking, cuma karena di kantor
kami securitynya standar aja jadi kami
gak mengerti hal tersebut..

Mungkin suhu2 bisa kasih langkah2 dan cukup memberikan linknya untuk
dipelajari...

ngomong² soal upgrade karir, biasanya untuk kita IT worker apa yang
perlu kita siapkan?
apakah artinya, kita pindah kantor dengan skill yang sama, atau dirasa
nambah skill lalu itu saat yang tepat untuk pindah.
Pindah disini artinya kalau di kantor sekarang berasa mentok, secara
struktur organisasi.

yang gawat lagi sebetulnya kalo di tempat sekarang sudah mentok secara
ilmu dan struktural.
gak bisa dapat ilmu baru lagi, karena tidak ada tantangan atau masalah2 baru.

Selamat sore praktisi dan penghobi IT,

Sebenarnya ini berawal dari iseng, karena memang biasanya orang IT
kalo lagi bengong suka cari kesibukan.
Ada fikiran yang sedikit mengusik, tentang bagaimana cara meng-upgrade
karir yang kelihatannya mulai mandek dan begitu² saja.
Ada sekelompok orang yang mulai aktif untuk ambil langkah berani,
menjadi enterpreneur, namun sepertinya masih lebih banyak lagi
teman² yang masih eksis, loyal dan belum kefikiran untuk buka usaha sendiri.

mungkin ada temen² pekerja IT disini yang punya pengalaman, untuk fast
moving, tips-tips untuk upgrade karir, atau mungkin ada yang
pernah merasakan sendiri manfaat dari short-course, workshop, maupun
certfied yang sifatnya global. Ya upgrade karir tentunya bebanding
lurus dengan upgrade skill.
Atau malah ada yang menyarankan tidak perlu ambil

saya sendiri merasakan stuck, dan ada rasa bosan, tapi bosan juga
pindah² kerjaan.. rasanya sudah cukuplah capek pindah².
atau saya memang kehilangan motivasi untuk berani menantang bosan
untuk pindah ke lain hati lagi.
Pinginnya sih mengadu nasih di negeri orang, singapore, canada, UAE, atau NZ.
Malah hari ini saya kaget juga lihat sebuah situs pencari kerja di NZ,
ternyata pemintaan pekerja ICT  sangat mendominasi.

Ada yang pernah merasakan yang hal yang sama? atau malah ada yang
sedang merasakannya?
silahkan berbagi.. pengalaman, cerita, tips, atau nasihat, untuk kita
ambil hikmah dan pelajarannya.
siapa tau jadi pencerahan atau jadi lentera yang terang melanjutkan
langkah berikutnya.

makasih Mas Budhi,
pada umumnya HDD branded desktop datang tanpa partisi, alias full hanya C:
dan saya ambil langkah cepatnya dengan menghiraukan recovery tools bawaan
pabrik.
kemudian saya install OSnya manual, tanpa menghapus partisi recovery yg di
hide.
jadi next time, saya masih punya versi original-nya.

Saya sedang menghadapi masalah dengan win7 yg terinstall di desktop
acer aspire M1800.
saya coba utk recovery bawaan dari acer.
terdapat 2 pilihan yaitu:
1. balik lagi ke setting pabrikan semua data akan terhapus.
2. hanya windows saja yg di recover, data pada users windows akan di backupnya.

kondisi HDD terdapat partisi utk OS dan DATA.
pertanyaanya adalah,
akankah kedua pilihan tersebut menghapus partisi yg sudah exsist?

Pengalaman saya dengan laptop compaq saya, partisi yang saya buat juga
dihajar habis. jadi hanya C dengan size yang besar.

Dear rekans,

Ada yang sudah pernah pakai ClearOS, dulu saya pernah pakai smoothwall
dan ipcop, sampai sekarang masih running-well.
Saya suka keduanya, karena cukup handal dan manajemennya sangat
friendly-user, via browser.
ada juga, black-list yg update dengan squidguard server. Urusan
blokir2 jadi menyenangkan :))

saya baru tau kalau ada ClearOS, ada yang sudah pake?
bagaimana dengan fitur mail-servernya clearos, saya tertarik fitur ini.
juga saya butuh port mapping. pastinya ada lah ya..
apakah cukup stabil dengan minimal requirementnya.
proses instalasinya apakah sulit atau mudah, terutama configurasi red + green.

silahkan jika ada yg ingin berbagi..

Kalau menggunakan Software recorder IP Camera yang generik, sebaiknya 
cek dulu kompatibilitas software dengan IP camera yang kita gunakan. 
Pastikan IP camera kita bisa dikenali dan digunakan oleh software tersebut.

Saya pake security monitor pro, cukup baik sampai > 10 kamera.

Dear rekans itcenter,

udah lama gak ngoprek² jadi agak² gak pede.
Saat ini ada 1 unit PC yang saya jadikan router sekaligus mailserver,
berbasis Debian dengan 2 NIC.
kemarin internet mengalami down, alhasil kami tidak bisa terima email.
saya coba kirim 1 email dari yahoo ke alamat email kami, terkirim
sukses tanpa feedback failed delivery.
berarti, email nyangkut di MX isp kami.

pertanyaan say adalah:
1. Jika saya pasang line inet baru, rencana speedy, toh cuma backup.
apa yang harus saya update pada mesin debian saya, apakah cukup dengan
mengupdate inconfig pada NIC WAN pada saat saya colokin line speedy?
atau cukup main di IPTABLE saja, nanti saya hanya tinggal ganti kabel
saja?

Dear suhu IT.
Dikantor baru saya terserang virus/ spyware/ mall ware. virus tersebut
menyerang ip kantor jadi di blacklist CBL.
sehingga aktivitas email kami terhenti
karena usernya ada 200 PC, kira2 ada software yang bisa mengetahui IP Client
berapa yang memiliki
virus dan membroadcast ke server?

segala cara udah dilakukan, setiap komputer udah di scan pake spyware baru,
antivirus dll..

Perkenalkan, saya rizqi, saat ini mahasiswa semester akhir di Fakultas Ilmu
Komputer Universitas Indonesia.
Saat ini saya sedang melaksanakan tugas akhir / skripsi dengan topik tentang
pelaksanaan green IT di Indonesia.Tujuan dari survey ini adalah untuk
memberikan gambaran tentang pelaksanaan Green IT pada industri di Indonesia.
Nah, saat ini skripsinya sedang berada dalam tahap pengumpulan data melalui
survey terhadap IT workers* *mengenai pelaksanaan Green IT di organisasinya.

Survey ini merupakan survey berkaitan dengan Green IT, serta peranan IT
dalam usaha melakukan efisiensi energi dan mengurangi dampak negatif bisnis

untuk Switch cisco ada port gigabyte yang harus pake 'connector' lagi. Apa
connector itu bisa di semua type produk cisco atau masing2 type beda2
connectornya?
itu menggunakan kabel jenis apa ya untuk jack/connector tsb? biasanya kan
RJ45 pasangannnya itu UTP.

gak tau bercanda atau ngetes nih hehe

sepengetahuan saya Green IT itu merupakan konsep tata kelola IT (baik
infrastruktur teknis, sdm, manajerial) dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan
efisiensi penggunaan energi dan mengurangi dampak negatif proses bisnis
organisasi terhadap lingkungan. Mulai dari policy, praktik, teknologi, dan
governance IT nya mengakomodasi tujuan tsb.

misal praktik yang mudah, mematikan monitor ketika komputernya sedang tidak
dipakai.. atau ketika pembelian peralatan IT belinya milih yang 'makan'
energi listrik lebih rendah..
atau misalkan pake teknologi Document Management System untuk menekan
penggunaan kertas


hehe maaf kalau sotoy..
mungkin kakak2 lain ada yang mau menjelaskan

Saya pernah mengalami hal yang sama. Tapi file servernya Linux, 
domainnya juga di linux. Dari servernya tinggal di cek file-file 
mencurigakan yang ada di file server, biasanya ada pola model file-nya.

Kemudian di file servernya tinggal di set untuk menolak menyimpan file 
dengan kategori tertentu. Sementara itu disembuhkan juga client 
Windows-nya, tutup file-sharing yang tidak benar-benar perlu dan 
jalankan windows update.

1. Insert an audio CD into the CD drive. Run Windows Media Player on your
Windows 7. Before ripping, you could do some customizaed settings for
ripping CD music.

2. Click the Rip CD button in Now Playing mode or Rip CD in the Player
Library to begin ripping. The operation is very easy for you to do.

3. After the songs have been ripped, you can find and play them in the
Player Library.

Model G-Readiness yang diciptakan oleh Prof. Alemayehu Molla, Ph.D dari RMIT
University, Australia.

Mungkin bisa coba yang webbased, logmein.com
tinggal instal disisi client-clientnya.
Pertama dikasih trial selama 30 hari, tapi setalah itu kita masih bisa
tetep pake
kalo memang kita gak mau beli.
Bedanya cuma, kalo yang bayar full feature, bisa file transfer, printing, dll
kalo udah expire trialnya, cuma bisa remote doang.

beberapa temen2 pasti tau. Ada Port Parallel satu dan dua Port USB.

saya mau beli ups buat 2 server baru saya, spec listriknya tertulis
(1) 460 Watt Hot-plug (Redundancy enabled),
katanya itu berarti = 2 x 460 Watt, dan rekomen teman musti 2 KVA..
apa bener begitu?
kalau saya hitung 460 + 100 (LCD monitor) cuma butuh tidak lebih dari 700watt.
Ada APC  SUA 1500I, tapi cuma 1,5KVA dengan output 980watt.
jika di compare dengan ICA SE1000 1 KVA/700Watt, masih bisa dicover kah?

Ada yang tau yang jual Fan ukuran dudukan sekitar 5 cm diagonal, 12 V.
Fan ini untuk fan di board switch yang sudah berisik/mati. Dudukannya 
sama dengan fan untuk beberapa model VGA/Chipset, cuma biasanya kurang 
tebal/kurang rpm-nya.

ilmu yang bermanfaat sekali.. terima kasih sharingnya
kebetulan, saya intergrasikan 1 user saja di disetiap branch saya,
karena skala branch kecil sekali, load dan traffic yang tinggi ada di
central pak.
di branch, karena di daerah, ISP yang mereka pakai ada speedy unlimited,
saya masih cari tau bandwidth yg mereka dapat.

dan pastinya bandwidth yang saya butuhkan untuk point-to-point seperti
pemikiran saya itu akan butuh minimal koneksi hingga 2Mbps. boros
bandwidth.

saya minat Fortigate 80C, e guardian sebagai distributor sudah saya
telpon 2x, iya ok terus saya tunggu penawarannya.

ternyata saya sudah instal zoneminder sebelumnya, tapi dilupakan karena

Saya pake ubuntu 10.04, di repo ubuntu zoneminder versi 1.24.2. Dari 
link pak ryosaeba diatas saya bisa aktifkan zm sampai muncul

Saya sudah ikuti langkah2 seperti di
http://www.zoneminder.com/wiki/index.php/Documentation#Check_that_your_Camera_Works.21
untuk penambahan kamera (IP camera panasonic *BB-HCM511). Tapi dari link 
montage maupun per kamera tidak ada yang muncul tampilannya.

Apa ada item lain yang perlu di setting?

big thanks untuk om albert, om yusron, om rusli, om ismail atas respon
dan masukannya.

Beberapa hari saya coba cek dengan bbrp tools gratisan, juga japri2an
dengan om fitra.
Dan kondisi dbf nya baik-baik saja, hingga habis akal rasanya.
Selidik punya seilidik.. ternyata program ini menggunakan sebuah dongle, bentuk
seperti jek konektor cowo cewe gitu, dia menyambung antara port LPT
dengan kabel printernya.

saya memang melepasnya, saat saya mau pasang printer barcode.
saya fikir, ini apa kok pake gini2an segala, lalu saya langsungin itu
kabel printer dengan port-nya.

halo rekan2 itcenter,

Saya ada masalah dengan program bikinan orang terdahulu yang masih dipakai.
masalahnya: pada welcome screen, hanya ada 2 pilihan. enter akan
muncul login. esc akan keluar.
nah, jika saya enter tidak ada muncul apa2.. tapi display agak2 kedip.

ini memang program jadul, running di win98, dibuat dengan foxpro dan dbase.
sebelumnya memang shutdown dengan tidak safely, dan muncul opsi mode
di boot selanjutnya.

ini kenapa ya? dan bagaimana kira2 solusinya?
mungkin kalao .dbf nya masih bisa saya selamatkan dan saya view. tapi
data ini banyak sekali.

halo rekan2 IT,
mungkin ada dari rekan2 yang tau dimana tempat service printer yang
bagus di daerah jakarta selatan, selain metrodata  ya :)
printer HP A3 color saya mendadak tidak bergerak, dibuka topcasenya
catridgenya juga tidak ke tengah.
tidak merespon perintah print, lampu indikator power dan gambar kertas
kedip2 bersamaan.

ini berawal dari kertas ngejam, lalu di tarik paksa :(

linux untuk P3 memori minimal 64Mb tp bisa compile program lainnya apa yach..??

saya
 mau compile dosemu, rdesktop dan Citrix di dalam linux tersebut, jujur 
aja dah semua jenis linux kecil sudah saya coba, dari damn small linux, 
puppy linux dan lain2.. tp permintaan dependenciesnya terlalu banyak..

adakah linux lainnya...
