mas Mulki, menurut pandangan mata saya astra adalah perusahaan yang besar, bahkan bisa jadi setara atau lebih besar dari freeport, jika yang mas Mulki maksudkan dengan ".. bagaimana astra dimata mas wanakahalugi atau dimata profesional ? " dan rasanya saya tidak menyebutkan bahwa astra atau freeport atau apapun perusahaannya wajib untuk mem-publish ke khalayak ramai bahwa mereka menggunakan email gratisan sebagai layanan untuk menampung email dari para pencari kerja. yang terbayang di pikiran saya adalah bagaimana dengan teman2 lain yang memiliki harapan besar ingin bekerja di tempat yang besar seperti mas Mulki tidak terburu2 mengirimkan CV-nya hanya karena lowongan yang di posting menggunakan nama perusahaan besar seperti freeport atau astra tetapi kemudian ternyata mereka ditipu atau data2 mereka digunakan dengan tidak semestinya. alangkah baiknya jika kita sedikit berhati2, bahkan jika kita tetap ber husnudzon, ke hati2an tidak ada salahnya bukan? dan disisi lain, jika perusahaan besar seperti astra atau freeport mem-posting lowongan pekerjaan dengan menggunakan email formal perusahaanya, tentu saja peluang mereka untuk menerima email CV dari para pencari kerja yang berkualitas akan lebih banyak. kalau di ibaratkan jika ingin memancing ikan yang besar gunakanlah umpan yang besar pula. tapi ya ini terserah kepada kebijakan perusahaan masing2, tidak ada yang mewajibkan mereka untuk menggunakan email formal kok. Hmm, menurut pendapat saya, agak aneh juga kalo perusahaan besar seperti freeport butuh urgent, belum update website atau karena local requirement jadi ndak update carrer link di websitenya dsb.. Karena mereka pasti sudah memiliki SOP yang baku apalagi jika mencari SDM baru melalui lowongan pekerjaan. Hanya TS-lah yang bisa mengklarifikasi lowongan yang dia posting apakah memang benar atau tidak. Maaf, mungkin ada sedikit salah pengertian. Memang regulasi IT itu dirahasiakan dan tdk pernah dipublikasikan. Tapi dari setiap regulasi IT yang dibuat oleh perusahaan pasti ada poin-poin yang sifatnya common CMIIW. Seperti; Peraturan penggunaan PC yang disebutkan oleh Mas Teguh atau peraturan akses file kerja di server atau aturan penggunaan Notebook yang memiliki fasilitas koneksi wireless di dalam lingkungan kantor. Memang saya kurang detil pada saat melontarkan posting regulasi IT dept. ini, yang saya maksudkan adalah pada poin-poin common itu dan lebih kepada pihak eksternal IT (user). Saya ingin membandingkan apakah aturan-aturan yang akan kami buat itu tetap pada prinsip win-win solution atau tidak dan apakah ada beberapa poin lain yang mungkin bisa diadopsi. Mas Syafa waktu install 'manage' juga sudah install server-nya lebih dulu kan...? Kalau sudah, maka feature live update ditiap client bisa disetting melalui servernya. Tapi sebenarnya kalau sudah ada norton antivirus server, live update cukup dari server-nya aja. Karena memang di-design untuk menghemat traffic network pada saat update virus definition. Kalau feature live update di-enable di tiap client, buat apa ada norton antivirus server...? BIOS RAID controller itu ada di mobo atau ada tambahan card lagi ya...biasanya kan ada tambahan card raid controller... soalnya saya dapet penawaran server, katanya si tu server udah support raid tapi by software... itu yang saya masi belom ngeh, by software tuh maksudnya gimana ya... baru denger soalnya... :-) klo bos tanya trus ga bisa jelasin kan malu... ya kan..? ;-) apa ada raid controller berbentuk software...? dear it-ers, Windows 2000 server itu defaultnya sudah ada software RAID controller-nya ga ya...? Kalau ada, akses ke menunya darimana ya..? Selama ini yang saya tau RAID controller itu berbentuk hardware.
