konsep intinya : mendeteksi indentitas penyusup.
Penyusup masuk dari mana dan kegiatan apa yg dillakukan oleh
penyusup.
Applikasi contoh : PortSentry, LIDS, dll
Firewall ---> proses pencegahan terhdapa intruder
Aplikasi contoh : ACL, IPTables
IPS ---> Prevention
berusaha mengelabui si attacker pada sistem palsu
Aplikasi contoh : Honyed,PatriotBox,Labrea, Dll
tapi semuanya itu tetap dalam konsep FireWall.
