Yang mudah dijelaskan adalah :
Monochrome yang sudah pasti, gambarnya hitam putih, tidak berwarna.
CSTN, gambar LCD berwarna yang penerangannya dari atas samping layar. Jadi
hitamnya tidak bisa legam.
TFT, gambar LCD berwarna yang penerangannya dari bawah layar. Nah yang ini,
asalkan setting brightnessnya tepat, maka akan sangat jelas, sehingga warna
hitam, bisa sangat legam.
